« The close connection with the lake allowed us to experience its many moods. It was a delight to watch the ducks, pelicans and waders as they went about their day. The ringing joy if the bellbirds was an added bonus as previously we lived at ‘Bellbird Cottage’ Bermagui and loved their bell-like sounds. A place to escape to and to refresh nestled close to Mother Nature. The cottage is well equipped - suggest a couple of hooks in bathroom for robes and towels but otherwise perfect. »

« If I could give more stars I would. This house had everything we needed for a fabulous group mountain biking and beach holiday. A great space for the bikes, jacuzzi for after a long day on the trails. Huge washing machine and dryer for gear. Plenty of space for everyone. We cooked every night. Kitchen well equipped. Even lovely fluffy towels and high quality linen. Hosts were friendly and helpful. »

« Spent three special days here with my three adult children. Really lovely house with amazing views. Nice furnishings and bedding and lovely artefacts, yet homely. The whales were there in their dozens. Incredible. Hope to go again sometime before too long. »

Narooma is close by and Tilba Tilba and Bermagui are short drives away and worthwhile visiting.The house is comfortable and had what we needed. The garage is full of the owner's items so cannot be used, but there is ample parking for 1 car off road. »

« The house was in a great location, right across the street from Bar Beach. House very tired, but served our purpose well of 2 young families spending a holiday together (including infants and kids up to 8 years old). Included lots of board games and toys, and the foozeball table was a hit with the kids.The major downside for us was the house was not very clean - the floors had not been vacuumed and mopped, which was unpleasant with babies crawling on floors.
