We stayed at this property from Saturday to Wednesday and, unfortunately, were very disappointed with our experience.The biggest issue was the condition of the yard. The backyard was completely torn up, with piles of mulch scattered throughout and very high weeds. The back gate also did not latch properly, which led to our dog getting out—this was especially concerning since the property is advertised as pet-friendly. The front yard was in similar condition, and when we arrived, there were workers actively doing landscaping with mulch piled everywhere.Additionally, workers came back during our stay to continue working on the property. While they did leave when I asked, it was uncomfortable and not something we expected during a rental stay.Inside the home, there were no instructions for using the thermostat. During a stretch of very cold weather, this made it difficult to keep the house warm and added to our frustration.Given the amount we spent, this experience was extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, due to these issues, we would not rent from these owners again. We hope these concerns are addressed for future guests.
