Very nice apartment, walking distance to anywhere in the historic district. Very clean and well maintained. The beds, while comfortable, are very tall, however, and was difficult for my elderly mother to climb up; perhaps a step stool would be handy?

Enjoyed our 4 night stay. Great location. Easy to walk everywhere. Purchased a parking pass at Bryan Street garage and this covered meter parking in front of property for 48 hours. Recommend this if you have a car.

Fabulous property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was very comfortable and the location in the historic district was superb. We enjoyed having 2 en suite bedrooms that were comparable in size. Great for 2 couples. Parking in the historic district is an issue but we easily found free on street parking less than a 5 minute walk and in a very safe area. We loved the shops in the immediate area.

We are annual visitors in January every year and this was one of our favorites. Very comfortable cozy weekend stay. Easy walking distance to our favorite places. Parking was easily available right in front, and the staff was very good about checking in to make sure everything was 100%.

Great Location
This property is in the art district of Savannah and right around the corner from the Mercer Williams Home and Forsyth Park. We were able to walk easily to Broughton Street and River Street for all the activities. The property was clean and had all the kitchen amenities that you need for a stay. Would stay here again in my travels bring me back to the area.

Our stay was fantasric. The host was very communicative and the location was superb to have access to walk all throughput the historic district. There were some updates to the unit. We expected a trundle bed in the 2nd bedroom and it had a full size bed. It worked out fine though. We very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!!!

This place was perfect for us! My husband, myself, and our 17-year-old son stayed here for our vacation. The location is perfect. We could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go; when we couldn't, it was a quick Uber ride. The bed was super comfortable! The kitchen had everything we needed. The steps into the bathroom are a little tricky. I was a little worried that I would miss the step in the middle of the night, but I never did. We would stay here again.

Great time!
We went as a girls trip and thoroughly enjoyed our time! The location of the property is great as it is within walking distance of pretty much everything. We had rented a car, but in hindsight, did not use it hardly at all. Parking is difficult, but that’s across the board as we found out. Nothing negative to do with the property. Appreciated the sleeping options (trundle bed, big bed, couches).

The Heart of Historic Savannah
Perfect location for Historic District, close to everything. Nice neighborhood. Parking was easy, free on weekends, and between 5pm -8am. We had an issue getting the balcony door open and no lights in the stairwell, but management was very responsive & sent a tech right away. Bring laundry detergent if you want to do wash. The living room needs a coffee or side table. Loved the shop on the garden level. All in all it was great!

In town for a conference
We stayed 4 nights for a conference. Our first impression was good. Having never stayed in a city before we had to learn about the parking. We got a day pass from the parking office downtown and that made it easy. The apartment is up two flights of stairs and has all the charm of a building built in the 1800s. It’s old but in a quaint kind of way… We had our one year old with us so I’ll rate it for kids 5 out of 10. Not very baby proof and the bathroom steps were a constant thing we had to watch her on. The kitchen was mostly stocked but could use some updating. The nonstick on most of the pans was flaking off… The rest of the apartment was good. The neighborhood felt safe and Savanna was definitely an experience for us. One thing I would recommend that we have seen at other vrbo’s: Have a book or flyer that explains parking, emergency info like where the nearest hospital is, and nearby attractions/restaurants/grocery stores.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this property for our trip to Savannah. Great area. Clean and beautifully furnished. The only con was that we had guests above us they were not so concerned with other guests around them. So be aware that this is on the second floor and you may have to deal with noise throughout the night coming from the third floor. Other than that everything was wonderful.

comfortable place
The beds are super comfortable here even though one is a day bed. When I read it was two bedroom I really expected two complete rooms not one combined with the dining space ( wierd) but it worked out. It was a bit noisy but got used to it. I think my only complaint was the lock box with the key in it is a bit confusing however we called and got a hold of someone right away to give us instructions. Overall we enjoyed and would probably stay there again.

Very nice place to stay. Clean! Could get a little noisy at night between traffic and other neighbors, but nothing major. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals there. Plenty of towels and bedding. Walking distance to a lot of things. The public bus stop is right outside also. Drawbacks.... You do have to go up stairs outside and another flight once you're inside. The outside door was in the 2nd room. Was a little concerning for us since we had 2 kids, we just moved a chair in front of the door. The pool is located in Tybee. It is very crammed. The pool only has a small section that is under 5 ft. The rest is 8 ft deep. Got crowded very quickly. Overall, is a nice place to stay. Pricing, communication, location, cleanliness were all spot on

This property was lovely except for the BED BUGS. My daughter and I were covered in bed bug bites. We took pictures and sent them to the property management company and they REFUSED to reimburse us. This was very traumatic. We had to worry about possibly bringing them home.

Perfect for what we needed!
My co-worker and I went to Savannah for a meeting and planning retreat. This location was convenient to our meeting and was within easy walking distance to many points of interest. The back of the unit looks over to the back of the Mercer-Williams House, made famous in the book/movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil"! The street noise can be loud, as mentioned in other reviews. The neighborhood is beautiful and interesting! This property is charming and just as it is pictured online!! Property management did an excellent job in communicating with us during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this property for your trip to Savannah! Helpful hints: Consider bringing a 3-prong to 2-prong AC plug adapter(s) to adapt two-prong outlets for a three-pronged plugs. The house is historic so the outlets are scarce and not all of them will take a three-pronged plug. I had to plug my computer charger in the bathroom. Also, bring your own ice as there is no ice-maker in the freezer and only two ice trays provided.

Lovely Well Appointed Historic Savannah Walk Up
Wonderful location between the River and Forsyth Park. The beds were comfortable, there was privacy for sleeping quarters. Two baths with 3 women on a girl's trip was a big plus. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you'd expect. The living room was very inviting and comfortable after a long day of walking. The little balcony off the back is a great space for morning coffee. This is a historic property so the stairs are steep, if stairs are an issue for you... just go slow. Finding close parking was easy which is a big plus since much of Savannah's parking can be a challenge. I recommend this property and would definitely stay there again. Personal suggestion... don't miss the opportunity to watch/rewatch "Midnight in the garden of good and evil" as the Mercer House featured in the movie is a short walk away, and the unit has nice TV's for viewing.

Layonya: Excellent! Entire Stay! Returning Soon!
Layonya provided excellent quality services on our week long trip in Savannah despite our initial concerns. Our first Vrbo place we had issues in our unit and there were issues with the plumbing in the unit downstairs. Layonya was professional and patiently arranged our entire stay while in Savannah. And we appreciate everything that she did to reduce our stress and the inconvenience. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay in Savannah. We plan to return in the near future.

Savannah & Pickleball 💖
My friend and I decided on a spur if the moment trip to Savannah to play in a pickleball event. The weather was drizzling for 2 days which was absolutely perfect for us to explore the city and all it has to offer. Winner of our self created Coffee Crawl #bluedoorcoffeeandwaffles hands down the best in the area for coffee, food and service!! (and there are a lot of coffee joints) Absolutely loved the entire set up of our place just know the 2nd bedroom is a day bed with a pull out trundle but my friend gave the mattress a good review. The balcony has a great view as does the entire master suite. The management is so quick to respond to any and all questions. We visited from a Wed-Sat departure was early a.m. This allowed us to avoid all the crowds and possible noise of the weekend. The location and the home was absolutely perfect. Side note although bc of weather we did not get to experience the local pickleball we did check out all the courts and will be back.

Very Loud And Needs Improvments
First off, I want to start by saying that this is a very lovely building. The parking was easy and free on the weekends, so I didn't have to struggle with moving the car or finding a free spot. I also understand that older buildings can be harder to maintain, and I commend anyone who works to put love and care into preserving historic buildings. That all being said, there were some issues that I just couldn't overlook. I was really excited to stay at this property over the Memorial Day weekend. It's so close to Forsyth Park, a very easy walk, and that was on my bucket list for visiting Savannah. This was originally going to be a family trip, but at the last minute, my husband suggested I go on my own to get some much-needed work done without any distractions. When I first arrived, the place seemed great. It was clean and very charming. The neighborhood seemed very nice, too. That night I was disappointed in the quality of the sleep I received. The windows are paper thin, and don't block out any noise at all. I could hear everyone's conversations down on the sidewalk, and there are busy streets on all sides of the building. The following day, I noticed the shower in the master bedroom barely had any water pressure, and I could not use it. Not a huge big deal since it was only me, and there is a second bathroom with a shower. But had my family come along, this may have been an issue. Also, my sleep the second night was non-existent due to the noise once again outside. Residents of the neighborhood tend to rev their engines down the streets all night long. And with the older windows, there is no noise reduction at all. There was a sound machine in the unit with a nice note that said to try it if it seemed too noisy, but in the end, nothing could drown out the outside noise. It was as if there were no windows present at all. My relaxing, distraction-free weekend to finish up work turned into an exhausting one. The place is cute. And being in a historic building, it's very charming. But I have to say I was very glad my husband stayed home with the kids because it would not have been great having them woken up all night long by all the noise. I actually ended leaving early and driving back home just to get a good night's sleep before the new week began. I think with investing in some better quality windows and fixing the plumbing issue with the master shower, the property can be a lovely place to stay. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me this time.

This property was a mixed bag. GREAT: location, sunlight, main bed/pillows (best ever!), second bathroom, internet speed/reliability. NOT SO GREAT: main bathroom not fully functional (hot water only, not enough pressure to make the shower work); second bedroom is just a day-bed for 1 not tall person; advert says "housekeeping included" but we stayed there a month and were told it was $-extra; no eating area or dining table (we ate standing up in the kitchen, on a couch, or in a bedroom).
