Charmantes 2-Schlafzimmer Haus im ruhigen Savegre de Aguirre

Stay in an architect-designed teak house a short walk from Playa Matapalo, on Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast. The No-Footprint House belongs to the internationally recognized No Footprint House series by architecture studio A-01, and it is built to stay open to light, sea breeze and the sounds of the jungle.

THE SPACE
Two bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. The main bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. Single-level, open-plan living with a spacious living area, a long dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven and microwave. Ceiling fans and mosquito nets keep things comfortable. By design there is no air-conditioning, TV or washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS
A private pool sits inside a fully fenced garden, with a hammock and sun loungers. Beach towels and chairs are provided for Playa Matapalo, a few steps away. The house has its own entrance, its own gate separate from the safari tents on the property, and private parking.

GOOD TO KNOW
Wifi and a safe are provided. Linda or Flory, your local hosts, will welcome you personally on arrival and can arrange breakfast, tours, surf lessons, horseback riding and transfers with advance notice. Housekeeping is available for an extra fee. Monkeys, macaws and sloths pass through often. The property sits in open jungle and is not childproof, so children need adult supervision, especially around the pool. Two restaurants and a small supermarket are about a 15-minute walk away. A car is recommended, as there is no public transport, and Manuel Antonio National Park is about 50 minutes by car.
