« Well furnished, comfortable beds and very clean! Check in was easy. Appliances appeared new. Thoughtfully host left bottles of cold water in frig. Host furnished several Keurig containers for coffee lovers in our family to get us started in the morning! »

« So relaxing to just unwind and watch the farm happening all around. My wife and I loved interacting with the goats and watching the chickens go about their business. »

« Very clean, lots to do! Host was very easy to contact with fast response! Easy to check in and out. House seemed much larger and roomy in person. »

« Everything was lovely. Several of our friends who were staying elsewhere were very jealous. »

« Nice farmhouse with a great view. We had 7 adults and 2 children and had plenty of room. Kitchen is big with an attached dining area. Front porch is nice to watch the sunrise or enjoy an evening beverage. The firepit is great (would recommend removing the tree blocking the view of the lake from the firepit). Best thing is the house was well stocked with all the paper products you need (minus kleenex), garbage bags, coffee, firewood, laundry needs and soap. »

« The family friends we were meeting who grew up in the area unfortunately had a relative pass away so we were on our own exploring the area; however, the house, mainly the front deck was a great area to gather and enjoy everyone's company; we also had their kids stay with us as a distraction and there was plenty of room; my wife and kids loved the sound of the farm, moos at different times of the day. »

Our Host Mark gave us a through understanding of all the interesting and delicious wine and port he is creating on the Rock Stream property. "As soon as we arrived, the clerk told us how to get to our room, but it wasn't clear. The manager took care of us to show us our room. His purpose was to sell us the dinning facility, and he was a little too pushy for me! The driveway to the check in had a big hole which was easy to fix temporarily with a bag of gravel rock! The front door of our room was filled with sticky leaves from last fall. The environment around the Hotel is splendid. "
