We were beyond thrilled with our stay at Anjali Casa Divina. Raphael met us at the door, showed us the property in depth, and made us feel so welcomed! Some of the highlights: optional morning yoga for $10/pp, gorgeous infinity pool with epic sunsets every night, only a 3-5 minute walk away from town (depending on your fitness level), super safe, free use of towels, beach supplies, sunscreen/aloe for your day's activities, and a self-serve option for alcohol and snacks. The cons (and these should be taken with very little weight) include: you absolutely can hear the beat bumping from the clubs on the weekends (but that is basically unavoidable), the garden suite was very small, and breakfast was minimal. Our room, the garden suite, was pretty cramped. For two people, it felt tight. I did love, however, how tucked away it was from everything and we even had our own hammock! Breakfast included a selection of fruits and pastries. There are a lot of different places in town to have a proper breakfast, so if you're looking for something beyond fruit and yogurt, you will have to go elsewhere. There was an option for food to be made for you, however, the staff member manning the kitchen was very resistant and/or uncomfortable to cook. Many of us were confused as it was told to us we could pay for a heavier breakfast if we wanted it. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot! For the price, it cannot be beat!
