This homeâs description is not accurate. There is NO AC in this house. I specifically searched for homes that have ac, since I am aware that most homes in Seattle do not have it. We arrived on Thursday evening and discovered that the âacâ is actually floor fans and a portable ac unit. If this is a dealbreaker for you, Iâm glad to have helped you out before you made the same mistake I did. Even though the temps were ok at night, the afternoon suns shines directly into the living area all day, heating up the space and making it unbearably warm. The portable ac unit does not cool the room until the sun sets (this time of year, thatâs almost 10 pm). If the AC isnât a problem for you, this house is fine but still very overpriced. There are no amenities, nothing is within walking distance, and the house is tired and in need of upkeep. It has gorgeous views of the water, but the deck boards are so old that they flex under your feet. The curtains are cheap mini blinds which do nothing to keep the sun or the heat out. The kitchen is not very well stocked. I expected more from this home given the price point, but if all you care about is a roof and walls, then this is the place for you!
