All in all, this was a good stay. I was initially a little concerned when we arrived at the property without any check-in details or instructions on how to get inside. Thankfully, I was able to get the owner’s contact information through VRBO, and once we called, he quickly sent over the check-in information.The property itself was as expected, although the kitchen appliances left a bit to be desired. For example, the dishwasher didn’t seem to actually wash the dishes, and the refrigerator didn’t make ice or dispense water. This was a bit challenging for me personally because I’m currently nursing and exclusively pumping, so I rely heavily on being able to wash and sanitize pump parts. One of the reasons I opted for a house instead of a hotel was specifically for that convenience. When I tried to hand wash my parts, I also noticed the sink didn’t have a drain plug, which made that process a little tricky as well.I was also a bit disappointed that there were no golf clubs available for the mini putt setup. Since we traveled with three kids, I wouldn’t necessarily describe the house as particularly family-friendly. There were quite a few decorative knick-knacks that we needed to move out of reach, and the only entertainment option available was the ping pong table.
