Lovely home with a lot of thoughtful amenities (Q-tips, lotion, etc.). We spent a quick night to decompress after an Alaskan cruise before we flew home, it was the perfect place to relax! You can walk to a cute area to eat or pick up wine/food just a few blocks away or walk to the Woodland Zoo within a 1/2 hour. Just walking around and looking at the gorgeous Craftsman and Victorian homes is a delight. Enjoyed dinner and a glass of wine on the large front deck. We were there on a warm summer day (about 85 degrees) and because there is no central air, it was very warm inside. There is a portable air conditioning unit upstairs, so you can make the master pretty comfortable if you blast it, but the loft bedroom never cooled down enough to use. I liked that there were instructions all over the house - so refreshing! If you stay, check you email after you check in because they will send you a link to all of the house instructions. Great idea IF you check your email. We didn't. A simple laminated QR Code in the house that takes you to the instructions would solve this issue. Overall, a lovely house in a beautiful neighborhood that lets you experience life outside of downtown Seattle.
