„Property outside is okay, deck rails very unstable if you need support getting up stairs. Inside the house was nice, a little musty smelling but nice cross ventilation cleared that out. Good layout and plenty of space for 4 to 5 people.“

„Wow! What a beautiful, clean and comfortable stay in Octopus Lair!!! Our family absolutely loved all the details in the house and appreciated the comfortable beds. It was nice that so much was provided for use in the kitchen: coffee, pods as well, sugars and powder creamer. All the ziploc bags and foil and wrap to store leftovers was so nice. The area was great and the house provided lots of entertainment. Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home “

„The house is in a wonderful location to walk to anywhere in town, and has great river views. I was very impressed with how clean and organized it he space was. Lots of thoughtful details in the living room of furniture pieces with multiple uses. Communication with the hosts was also prompt. Love having a little green space around the property as well. “

„We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. We would highly recommend.“

The beds are incredibly comfortable and the tall ceilings are a huge advantage. We will definitely book this house again for future beach vacations. “

„The condo was perfect for our fishing trip with friends! The location was just right, with easy walking access to both town and the beach. We also had a terrific view of the ocean. Check in was super easy. Kitchen was very easy for several people to prepare a meal. I wasn't smart enough to get the front burner to heat faster.“
