„Basically a nice hotel. A few things could be improved: There is no storage space for things in the bathroom. Lack of hooks or bars to hang bathroom towels. The save was not functional. The room made a newly renovated impression, but unfortunately with the above missing details.“

„Booked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.“

„Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und man kam sich bei dem Service fast wie in einem 5 Sterne Hotel vor. Uns wurde angeboten das Gepaeck auf das Zimmer zu bringen und wir wurden zu unserem Zimmer begleitet. Das Zimmer war sauber und gross genug und mit Wasserkocher und Kaffee/Tee sowie Keksen ausgestattet. Zum Fruehstueck gab es u.a. Cornflakes und Muesli. Ausserdem konnte man sich aus einem Menu eigentlich alles was das Herz begehrt (Eier, Bohnen, Schinken, Wurst, Omlette, Waffeln..) ...

„Lovely building and lovely room. 2 adults 1 child in bedroom 2. Large room with small ensuite shower, toilet and sink. Situated in a lovely street, can be a bit noisy at night with the pub but not enough to annoy us. Will definitely stay again. “

„Had a few days in The Lakes while visiting family in the UK and attending the Oasis concert in London. We could not have been happier with The Ambleside Inn - totally excellent stay. Great location, wonderful staff (thank you) and although no onsite parking there are lots very close to the Inn and the short stay (30 min) drop off is right outside. Highlights: clean and pretty well kept, despite it being super busy (it was July!), with a really good breakfast and a nice cozy bar plus Pub Food in ...
