Upon arrival to Bali we made our way to Bali Luxury Villa only to find out it had been double booked on the first night. When we arrived at Villa Radiance, our temporary villa for the night, an Indian couple were checking out early as they were not happy with the accommodation. They informed us they had no hot water, no wifi, things were broken in the villa. Despite their recommendation not to stay, we decided to stay the night in the hope we would be moved he next day. The first day of my holiday was disappointing. Villa Radiance is located in Seminyak on the east side of Sunset Road. I wouldn't recommend staying there.
The next day we moved to Bali Luxury Villa, still located on the eastern side of Sunset, you need a taxi to go anywhere and the challenge is getting a taxi to find the villa on the return trip. We often got lost.
The villa itself was lovely, marble tiles, clean and modern. However wifi was intermittent, the pool wasn't cleaned properly daily and I definitely wouldn't put my head in the water. There was a day spa across the road from the villa - Murano, this was lovely and he service was great. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants or shops close by to walk to and wouldn't do so in the dark. The local drivers are good, Ketut in particular but you need to negotiate the cost - their fees were high.
I wouldn't recommend you stay here until there is more infrastructure in place, ie signage to the villas, restaurants, coffee shops etc.
