We recently stayed at Ninetree by Parnas II in Seoul. Unfortunately, one of our bags with newly bought products went missing from our room. We reported it immediately, but for four days the hotel only told us they were “checking“.
They said housekeeping hadn’t noticed any lost bag and claimed the CCTV footage was too unclear to see if the bag left the room. Speaking with the manager was also unhelpful. He only ordered another check and said everything else was just assumptions. No compensation or real support was offered.
We then contacted the booking agency. They emailed the hotel asking for clarification and compensation, but received no reply. After calling the hotel, they were told that no compensation would be given because the case couldn’t be clearly proven.
Only later did we see other reviews from guests who experienced similar incidents, which we unfortunately didn’t know before booking.
This situation and the hotel’s lack of responsibility were extremely disappointing. We expected professionalism and care, but instead were left to deal with the loss on our own. We cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values safety and reliable service.
