There are two Sama-Sama Hotels at the airport. The Sama-Sama Express is inside of the terminal and not usable if you have to pick up you baggage and go outside. This was not clearly understandable to me when booking. So I ended in the Sama-Sama and had to pay more because only a higher category room was available. But room, service etc was perfect.

Vorsicht bei diesem Hotel!
Die Buchung über Expedia.de lautete auf 1 Übernachtung bei freier Wahl der Anreisezeit, bei Ankunft sollte unser Aufenthalt dann auf 6 Stunden (!) begrenzt sein. Erst nach langem Hin und Her wurde uns schließlich die gebuchte und vorausbezahlte volle Nacht gewährt. Der Fehler liegt hier allerdings weniger beim Hotel, das auf Stundenbasis vermietet, als bei Expedia.de.

OK für eine Nacht
Das Hotel befindet sich unmittelbar im Transferterminal des KLIA und ist somit auch ohne gesonderte Passkontrolle erreichbar (wenn auch leider etwas versteckt). Der Service war gut (ich durfte ohne Aufpreis 1 Stunde länger bleiben als gebucht), Die Ausstattung ist einfach, die Sauberkeit okay. Wer einen längeren Aufenthalt bis zu seinem Anschlussflug hat und nicht auf den Sitzgelegenheiten des Airports schlafen möchte, ist hier für den Preis von rd. 50 Euro ganz gut - wenn auch spartanisch - untergebracht. Insgesamt OK, mehr aber auch nicht.

Nettes Personal und ein freundlicher Empfang. Kleine etwas in die Jahre gekommene Zimmer aber gut, um einfach mal eine Pause einzulegen bei einer langen Reise.

The room was spacious and with good supplies of amenities. Good enough for a short stay during transit. The shower was not hot enough though.

Sama Sama Express was an ideal place for my layover of almost 14hrs. The transit hotel is located in a convenient spot of the Satellite terminal. The room was clean, quiet and close to the aero train and bus for an easy transfer to the Main terminal gate G from where my connecting flight departed. The staff were welcoming and I got the much needed rest before my next flight. Would highly recommend this property for a long layover at KLIA.

With a 12 hour stopover, it was perfect to be able to have a shower, go to the toilet, have a sleep and just chill in our own private room instead of hanging around the airport. It made the stop very pleasant thankyou.

We had a layover for 11 hours and stayed for 6 hours for a sleep! Pleasantly surprised at facilities and room was quiet and we had a good rest before our next flight in the morning ! It’s nothing fancy, basic but I’d all you need for a sleep and shower with added little things like towels , toothbrush , shower cap safe and fridge !

Booked hotel for my parents. They loved it. Staff was nice. apart from Breakfast thingy, I emailed hote 10x times minimum but automated emails, asking for flight details. No communication been made at all. Parents aren’t very good in speaking Malay/English. Absolute joke of communication.
