Beautiful tranquil spot in the vines

Had an excellent stay at the Lodge. The lodge is very comfortable with an honesty bar and one of the best breakfasts ever experienced. Lots of attention to details and super service. Also within walking distance to Fino and Hentley Farm Wines.

Excellent b & b.

Great base for Barossa - lovely short walk to Hentley Farm and avross the road from Seppeltsfield winery. Great host. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable.

Hosts were most gracious and welcoming; nothing was too much trouble. The property was well presented and clean with fresh towels daily and an extensive breakfast menu.

Room was very comfortable, but lighting for reading was dim. Couch in TV room was saggy and satellite TV only. Grounds and garden excellent.

Good B&B, comfortable room and run of the lounge are with honour bar. Outside furniture a bit dirty and pool not swim ready. Requested 11am checkout which was agreed to by one host whilst in the morning the second host made us feel uncomfortable being there.

Great place to stay in the Barossa…

Great location opposite Seppeltsfield Winery. Beautiful character house accomodating 4 guest bedrooms. Breakfast was fantastic and Colin and Phil were great hosts. Will definitely be back.

Amazing hosts

Amazing hosts . Generous and thoughtful . Easy stroll to a couple of fabulous wineries . Extremely clean , comfortable , generous spaces , perfectly heated , old school ornaments and decor delightful . Would highly recommend and would definitely return here .

The personalised service and care was wonderful. We were made to feel so at home. Highly recommend this place if you want to be treated to a special time in the Barossa Valley.

It is a bit unusual in that there are no tea/coffee making facilities or fridge or TV in the rooms. It is all a shared situation. The air conditioner was not responding to some of the buttons on the remote control which made sleeping a bit inconsistent. Apart from these minor issues, the host was very attentive, the breakfast was excellent and the stay was pleasant.

Our short trip for our anniversary could not have been any better. Colin and team made us feel very comfortable, and helped make it a truly memorable experience. The perfect location to see the best that the Barossa has to offer. We will be back for sure and could not recommend The Lodge highly enough!!

Special Gem

What a fabulous place? Located across the road from Seppeltsfield, this historic home has every creature comfort you can imagine and a few more. Our hosts were attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. There's no doubt in our minds that we will stay there on our next trip to the Barossa.
