Really enjoyed our stay at the Cub House, the location is fantastic. Close enough to drive where you want to go but off the main drag so you avoid a food chuck of the traffic. House is outfitted really well and they were quick to respond to any questions we had. They were willing to come out the day of to replace the toaster and bring foosball’s for the table. Really helpful. I would say the firepit area had quite a few weeds in it and the actual pit is rusted through but it was hot in July so we had plenty of other great areas to sit. Front and back porch were great. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

Great trip

This was our first time to the Smokey mountains. We had family from Michigan and California and the house is set up great for multiple families. Very spacious with 2 full bathrooms upstairs with 2 bedrooms. There was 1 1/2 bathrooms down stairs with 2 bedrooms. The master bed is downstairs with a very spacious bathroom. Had some trouble getting into the house but the host was very quick to respond. I would not hesitate to come back for another stay!

Rats in the WALLS!!

We booked an 18 day stay . Second night there we were awoken by a loud digging noise. Pest control confirmed rat nest found. We were asked if we could move to more than one time to a different location and said yes. They never moved us. The owner (host) never spoke with us it was a crew of his. We left the day before Christmas Eve with small children on a 10. /12 hour trip home. They told us there was nothing they could do. We got part of our money back. Not ALL like it should have been. We had to leave 1,000 in groceries lost Dollywood tickets and Hatfield and McCoy tickets. The vents were full of rat droppings. We have pictures and videos. It was an awful experience. It ruined our Christmas. The first before us reported noises in walls nothing was done then. They knew still let us come to the home. VRBO would not do anything to help us we called 10 times to them to complain. They did nothing but contact the crew. There was a door to kitchen that did not lock that went out to the garage. And one with a garage door opener or code to side door could come directly into the house. Neither did anything to help us with door either. NIGHTMARE!!

Beautiful Home, Great Location!!

This home is just like the pictures show it to be. It is clean, welcoming and beautiful. It was in a great location just a short drive to Pigeon Forge and the Parkway. We rode the Alpine Coaster which is very close to the house and had a blast. We loved the natural setting with no neighbors directly upon us. The fire pit area was beautiful, but unfortunately we could not use it due to the statewide burn ban due to the very dry conditions, which is totally understandable. I would definitely consider rebooking for his house in the future when we visit. Very well pleased with the cleanliness and condition of the home. Loved the 80’s arcade game table upstairs too. Book it you won’t be disappointed! Please note: There are two bedrooms downstairs, the master and another. The only full bathroom is the one in the Master. There is a powder room just outside the door to the guest bedroom but if someone in the room would like there own shower/bath they will need to use the Master or go upstairs to share that guest bath.) One suggestion: please load up the house with more bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. We had to wash ours during our short stay.

Great stay! I'm actually bummed because I meant to check the mattress type before I left... that's how comfortable the beds were. Beautiful place, and the location is very convenient to town.

The house was beautiful and very clean! Great Location! The only issues we had was a foul smell in the master bathroom, which we think may have been a rug. The communication with the owner went south after we arrived we had a couple of minor questions and we asked them everyday and never received a response back:( Not very professional even if it was minor

We were a 4 couple group and this place was perfect for us!! The pictures tell the story and it doesn’t disappoint in person. It’s less than 10 minutes from all the action but tucked back in a beautiful wooded area. Beds were all great and the furnishings are first class. We especially enjoyed the 4 person hot tub! If we come back to this area I will definitely stay again. Only thing I would do differently is stay longer!

Wonderful Place!

We had a great stay! Enjoyed everything about this place! Would definitely stay here again! There was 10 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. Enjoyed sitting on front and back porches drinking our coffee. Loved how clean this place was and how it was decorated.

Classy Cabin ! Make this your selection...

Our stay here at Cub Circle was a classy top knotch stay! From the booking, corresponding with the host ,to check in and check out. This property is well kept and even more lovely than the pictures. Nice elevated hills lead you to this property without being scary, which was a plus for my daughter. Its also in close proximity to everything. There's also a nice Amish grocery store close by . We even saw a deer from the back porch ! I cant say enough about this cabin being so nicely decorated and clean ! The game room was a hit with the grandkids. It's an easy drive to Piegeon Forge and Cades Cove. Definitely take the drive from Cades Cove back through Gatlinburg , what amazing scenery!!! Don't hesitate selecting this property! Its a 5 star plus from the Babin family!!! Thanks for everything !

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Cub House! The outside curb appeal was beautiful and the inside was just as beautiful! It was definitely family friendly. We really enjoyed drinking coffee on the rocking chairs and eating breakfast on the back porch. My kids loved the game room and most important Justin was phenomenal with communication and being available for any questions. This was a great way to celebrate our family vacation in remembrance of my dad and Mother’s Day as well. We will definitely share with others our experience at this house and will definitely stay here again. JC

Perfection!

We will book this property every time we can! It was immaculate. We enjoyed everything about our stay; relaxing in the back yard, playing games in the game room, soaking in the hot tub, taking a walk in the neighborhood, and preparing meals in the kitchen. We had guests from three families and there was enough space for everyone to have their own privacy when needed. We only wished we’d had more time to stay.

Tennessee Winter Vacay

This property is Phenomenal pictures don’t do it justice. Absolutely stunning with such a warm and cozy atmosphere. Everything was extremely clean and very well put together. We traveled with 4 children ages 15, 8, 5 and 1 and everyone had a blast (the kids barely left the game room haha) The section for the fire pit was amazing we were out there every night. This was our first time in Tennessee and we loved it, we will definitely be back. Before even arriving justin gave us numerous suggestions of activities and places we’d probably want to visit around the town. Immediately after arriving, Justin reached out to make sure we were settling in okay and assured us if there was anything we needed not to hesitate to reach out. If I could give this cabin and Justin a 10 star I would. Can’t wait for our next trip back to the Cub House!

Observations

There are several points I want to mention. First, when looking for bath towels we could not locate any for any bathroom. After our diligent search we looked into the laundry room and discovered towels in the dryer. Secondly, the house appears to be a "smart house" (house systems controlled through the internet) with no accessibility to the guests. The weather was extremely cold and the overall temperature of the house remained around 55 degrees. It was uncomfortable to say the least. Two bathrooms drainage in the showers needed to be cleaned because they were clogged with hair. One point I would like to suggest in the future. In the house, the property manager could have at least bottled water in the house. I think most hotels that I have stayed at least have two (2) bottles of water in the room. You can cut costs but not to the level that guests feel as though they are being treated as a commodity where one tries to maximize profits. The house itself is a beautiful home, but the above detracts from its beauty.
