Great view!

A mama bear & her cub were roaming the cul-de-sac where the cabin was located. Loved the loft are and having a balcony on each floor. Kitchen amenities were abundant. We plan on staying here again!

Pleasant location for a get-together

We came to reunite with old friends and found this property to have a very nice balance of shared and private spaces. The views from the upper two level of decks were pleasant and relaxing. The property was conveniently located, allowing us to make quiet, no fuss day trips to Gatlinburg, Dollywood and nearby national parks.

Great Thanksgiving

We rented the cabin for a week for our family of 6 to spend Thanksgiving together. The cabin was prefect. We enjoyed playing pool, games, and having family time. We also cooked Thanksgiving there and was surprised to see such a stocked kitchen. Thanks again!

Great place

We lucked out with a last minute trip to Gatlinburg and this cabin was a great location. 20 min to Townsend, 40 to Gatlinburg. We were able to spread out with 4 adults and 3 kids under 10. The views were great and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed besides groceries we brought.

Best location!

Every year we go to wears valley for Easter. We always stay in the preserves. This stay did not disappoint! The best area, the drive up and down the mountain is breathtaking. BEAUTIFUL CABIN! We had 3 adults and 5 kids under 11. Enjoyed every minute!!!

We had a wonderful stay! Nice cabin with amazing views! We had very fast assistance from the cabin owners. We had one slight issue that didn't affect our stay at all, but I let the cabin owners know about the issue the evening we arrived. She responded immediately and the problem was handled by 10 a.m. the next day!

A cabin getaway

We had a fun Fall break stay at "Smoky Mountain Joy" at the Preserve. Carey & Denice were great hosts and communication was top-notch. We had more than enough space for our family of five to fully spread out and had everything we needed. The kids loved the pool table, arcade and "movie room" and the brand-new gas grill was a nice surprise. We have stayed at many cabins in the Smoky's over the years and this is the first one that had the hot tub on the top floor which gave us an incredible view of the mountain. We loved our stay and can't wait to go back.

Perfect for our large family vacation getaway!

What a wonderful stay we had over the week of Thanksgiving! Each group had an entire floor to themselves and we all had plenty of room to spread out. The loft, which is included with the top floor, is ideal for couples with children. Our kids loved having an area all to themselves!! There is a huge mattress with two cushioned pallets included which was great! The kitchen also included all of the pots and pans we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner which was a huge relief! We will definitely be back :)

Beautiful location!

Cabin was clean and great size! We had a great time there!! The process was easy and the owners were very friendly and helpful! The location was beyond beautiful! It was quite and relaxing there! Also I love the fact that there was fun/game zone in the cabin! The cabin is kids friendly, I had my 2 year old running around without being worried for his safety. The best part we were able to see black bears there everyday! Be careful and follow the rules keep your cars and cabin doors locked ;) I would definitely recommend anyone to rent!! No complaints at all!

Awesome rental!

Everything was great except for the grill was a little old and not very clean and the loft portion of the upstairs bedroom was not cleaned. There was unmaid linen on the one mattress. If we would have had more people I would have had to wash the linen. Otherwise everything was good.

Okay but not great

The cabin is nice but there were several things that didn’t work that really needed to work. The ice maker didn’t work, the heat on the main floor, the fireplace didn’t blow any air, the jets in the bathtub didn’t work so we froze on the main floor. It wasn’t worth what I paid

Beautiful Cabin 5 Stars 🌟 with a view !

Beautiful cabin. Definitely deserve 5 stars plus. Cabin was clean ! Owner was very communicative, ensuring we had everything needed. Very spacious accommodating a family of 6 adults. Full size washer & dryer always a plus. Three separate floors with a balcony and bedrooms on each floor. All with Mountain Views. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities to cook. In addition had a Keurig with pods. ( nice touch ! ). Gas grill was immaculate. Highly recommend booking this cabin. Close enough to all the tourist attraction, but far enough from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely book this cabin again.

The best cabin we’ve had yet

We had 11 people on vacation and this house was a perfect fit for our family. The house is three stories so we were not on top of each other. The host was extremely prompt with responding to our questions. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you will need. Even had a crock pot lol They had everythinggg to make coffee, not like the hotels do with the small mini size stuff. The towels were nice. The beds were so comfortable. We normally don’t sleep well on vacation but here WE DID! The views were just incredible. Getting to the cabin was not bad. My brother in law drove a small car and had no issues. We enjoyed the games downstairs with played pac man, frogger and pool. Everything smelled nice and was very clean.

Clean cabin in Wears Valley, could use a few updates

My family stayed here for several nights over spring break while visiting Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We wanted a cabin that was away from the busyness of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This cabin near Wears Valley is in a good location for us, and we've actually stayed in this subdivision previously. The cabin was very clean. Lots of sleeping options so everyone had plenty of room to stretch out, and the beds were comfortable. I felt like the cabin could use a few updates, specifically the kitchen and the basement. The kitchen cabinets and countertops are pretty worn out. The finish has worn off of the cabinet around the knobs, lots of scratches chips and dents, and several of the doors don't close fully. The edges of the laminate countertops are also missing in a few places. They could also use a few more items in the kitchen, as we were unable to find a spatula there (except for a large metal one meant for the grill). The basement has a nice fun gaming area with a video game machine and pool table. The pool table is in a tight spot between the wall and stairs which sometimes doesn't allow you to make a shot without unscrewing your pool stick to make the stick very short. The pool table has been leveled on one end using a hardback book and a cutting board, which looks a little sketchy. The bumpers on the table are worn out as well. Overall this is a nice cabin but it feels like its time for some updates. The owners are very attentive and helpful.

Great view!

This rental is private, quiet and has a great view. The manager, Bryanne Rizzo answered all questions and checking and out was easy. The beds were comfortable. Attention to detail, spider webs, dusting and cleaning fan above bed on main floor, bathroom door in loft cannot be locked,very rough, thin bath towels, ice maker broken, could not empty trash because locks were on outside cages, QR code on mantel does not work

We loved this cabin

This cabin was exceptional. The kitchen was stocked with the appliances and dish wear that we needed. The cabin was clean and there were plenty of towels and linens for our stay. The check in process was very simple. Our boys loved the arcade area and we liked that they had their “own space” and tv. The views were fabulous from all 3 floors. We ate dinner on the deck each night and the hot tub was a great way to spend the evening. The location of the cabin was great. We were away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge, but close enough to drive there when we wanted to. The drive up the mountain to the cabin was gorgeous. We saw a few bears on our visit and the hosts were great about giving us bear safety tips. We will definitely book this cabin again! Thank you Denice and Carey.

Family cabin

Renting was easy, the hosts always responded immediately to any questions. The property is beautiful and we had a large multi-family group with ages 1 to 50. The only thing I would recommend is if you have really little ones bring a large baby gate . There are some provided at the property but they weren't wide enough. This however, did not detract from our stay or fun in any way. Highly recommend.
