This cabin would be ideal for potentially 2 very small families but is not for a standard family with multiple children. First, the bedroom with the queen and bunk is COMPLETELY separate. It’s not ideal to have children sleeping in a detached separate space even with the obnoxiously long door code. We had our oldest sleep out there because we had little choice and I was so anxious every night for her safety.Second, the kitchen is not well stocked. There is coffee but no filters for the coffee maker-these are usually provided if there is a coffee maker without a filter strainer basket. There was salt and pepper and a small amount of vegetable oil. There were also 2 k cups. Third, the hot tub worked intermittently and the instructions left did not solve the issue. I had to google YouTube videos and trouble shoot multiple issues to get it to work but we lost 2 days because of this and our kids were so bummed. The master power fuse plug is loose so it falls out regularly and the entire hot tub has to be reset to warm. It takes 24 hours to reach a decent temp and when we turned the jets on, the water looked like egg drop soup. There were white ribbons of some sort of substance all in the water. Third, the layout of the cabin is not ideal for sleeping-the upper “bedroom” is divided by a curtain. The outlets throughout are old and loose and do not hold plugs and the towels need replacing. I was a host for years and I know these things are pricy but it adds value to the stay.
