„What a wonderful little home-stay! If you're after somewhere quiet, yet still close to the centre of Nuwara Eliya, this spot it perfect. No frills, just a comfortable room at an affordable price. Only a short walk to food options (Royal Wok does an excellent biryani).
It might be a little hard to find, but message Saman (e.g. via WhatsApp) and they'll collect you from wherever you need - even as far as Colombo airport!
Andrew's Lodge is a great option for anyone looking to break up the trip ...

„We only stayed at New Royal Mount Hotel one night- but we really enjoyed our room, the friendly staff and the delicious breakfast. The hotel manager is a young guy and if you have any question, i am sure he will give you a satisfaying and helpful answer.
The room was big and bright with a nice view to Nuwara Eliya and the mountains in the back. There is a bus-stop near the hotel (400 m) and Nuwara Eliya is just a 7 min walk away.
We really enjoyed our time, thank you for beeing our host! ...

„We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. “

„I booked this cottage due to its high rating in Expedia.
However, my experience was not as good as other same price range hotels I stayed in Sri Lanka.
There was about 20 flies welcoming us that took hours to get rid of them.
The facility it self is not bad but needs more effort in maintaining the facility and welcoming the guest.
The breakfast was the same for two days and there was no excitement. Taste was not good as well.
Since the cottage is maintaining the high rate, management might ...
