« The fireplace was my draw card. Rooms are as expected clean and with the necessary items. The property is tired and due for a refurb but it suits the budget traveller. The location is a short drive away from the main town. Enjoyed the restaurant, menu with good selection. As a solo traveller I felt safe which is very important. »

« Lovely building in quiet location. Room was clean and comfortable. The garden games were fun. Although there isn't a bar, as such, a good selection of drinks are kept in 'Mother Superior's' office and available via calling reception. There is no restaurant on site but there are restaurants nearby.
Overall a pleasant stay. 5 stars would be achieved by offering breakfast even a continental type. »
