„Had a fantastic time at the Jetwing Vil Uyana, the accommodation was excellent and the staff could not have done more for us. The hotel is in a secluded location, in a managed jungle setting with abundant wildlife and is within easy reach by taxi of Dambulla and Sigiriya. The food was excellent and served in a picturesque dining area overlooking the lake. We had an extremely relaxing three nights and would thoroughly recommend the hotel to others. “

„Für eine Nacht ein wundervolles Erlebnis mitten im Wald. In der Nacht hört man die Affen auf dem Dach herumtollen. Das Baumhaus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und das Bad ist halb unter freiem Himmel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen war gut. “

„Das einzige schöne ist der Pool und das Essen. Die Holz-Chalet riechen feucht und schimmelig. Im Bad sind die Gummis der Dusche angeschimmelt usw. “

„Die Hotelanlage und Zimmer sind weitestgehend sauber und gemütlich. Zimmer sind großzügig und das Bad ebenfalls. Wir hatten einen Whirlpool im Bad, welches defekt war. Und das sicherlich nicht seit geraumer Zeit. Schade wenn man sich nicht um die Reparatur kümmert. Frühstück war gut jedoch fanden wir es nicht in Ordnung, das wir für ein Glas Wasser zahlen mussten!! Die Reklamation beim Check out war vergebens, lag wohl auch am schlechten Englisch der Mitarbeiter.“

„We stayed one night but wished for more. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable, large, high ceilinged, basically a series of duplex cabins arranged the central reception and dining facility. It's a thoughtfully designed property. The restaurant is open to the air and up on the second floor where it catches the breeze. From the restaurant are nice views of Sigiriya off in the distance. The food was excellent. The chef, who showed an owner's attention to detail, has a lovely manner.  ...

„Loved the pool and the service! Chaminda and his family are such great hosts. Only bad thing: food/drinks are overpriced (1700/dinner) and prices are not even given on the Menu. You better have dinner in the village for half the price!“

„We got to the property and did not have the upgraded rooms. Apparently they don’t read their emails or bookings from Expedia. We had to scramble to get just regular rooms. The actual rooms hardly anything worked including the locks, the safe, the bathtub did not work properly. It was quite a disappointment. Considering we thought we were getting an upgraded experience. I would not go there again. “

„Arrived at the hotel to be told that they hadn't finished building it yet and have booked a room at a different hotel near by for us. They said the new hotel was $12 per night more but they would take on that cost and offered us breakfast as an apology which was a very good breakfast. This would have been fine if the hotel they booked had actually been $12 per night more instead of actually turning out to be $18 per night cheaper than we had paid! Feel a bit ripped off.
