« Upon arrival at this house we were greeted with an unkempt lawn and a key pad that would not unlock the house. Once inside we were blasted with a stale, moldy, old-smoke smell. Upon further inspection, we found hair in the shower and on the back of the toilet. One of the toilets was most definitely not cleaned as it had poop on the sides of the bowl. « This was a decent rental for the money. The sofa is almost not usable - you can see the lumps and feel the springs under the slip cover. The listing wasn’t clear there would be people in the basement. You could hear them sometimes through the vents. But the unit was very clean and suited our purposes. »

« Pleasant, cosy house in a peaceful area by the lovely marina. We were only here for a brief layover but the property suited us fine. It was clean, comfortable and well provisioned for guests. Would stay again. »

« At first glance the house was fine, however as the stay progressed we became aware of more and more issues related to cleanliness. i had to move a dresser in the master bedroom as something had fallen in behind, when I did I discovered what looked like 5 years worth of toys, dirt and dust, the beige carpet was actually brown/black. « The stove wasn’t working and periodically gave a beep (similar to a fire alarm low battery). We didn’t need it so just unplugged it. The owner was responsive and offered to fix it but since it didn’t impact us we told them it could wait. Only mentioning in case it still isn’t fixed for the next renter so that they have proof it’s a known issue. »
