« An unique and tranquil place near Sintra. It was a perfect home base for us to explore historic center and castles of Sintra, as well as many beautiful secluded beaches nearby. « We had a great time in Colares, the inside is not “modern” but is very clean and has everything you need and the exteriors are gorgeous (can’t beat the tennis court and swimming pool). 2 min away is a good local supermarket and the sea is 5 min away. The owners were very easy to reach and shown us around. They were also very helpful for any ask we had I would recommend spending time there anytime! Thanks for everything »

« Gabriela is a wonderful host. She welcomed us with her very sweet and friendly dogs and walked us through the home. She was very accommodating, leaving us a welcome package with snacks and wine and gave us suggestions for attractions and restaurants. We were lucky to visit in June when her garden was blooming, it is a very beautiful property. « Our stay started off well with great communication with Teresa and, then later with her nephew Vasco, who helped us check in and get oriented to the house. Special thanks to Vasco who went out of his way to help us with restaurant reservations! The beach is a 5-6 min way away with great restaurants.
