« Great environment, and Hiram is a very friendly host. Our family of 4 has stayed at the "bridge cottage" (unit "109" out of 8 (?)) for 2 nights, in a very relaxing place (forest/pond/pool). We were looking for a place to rest between big cities' craziness and the cottage was a perfect fit. Wifi was terrible though, barely functional. As long as you don't mind an overall rustic/shabby feel, you'll probably have as good a time here as we did. Worth noting, Hiram answered all our questions really...

« Such a nicely decorated cottage nestled in a quiet, private community with great walking and bicycle paths to private beach with lake access. Very easy communication with host. She was so nice! Close to Jim Thorpe. Deck offered a relaxing outdoor space for morning coffee or evening wind down. »

« Very peaceful environment. The creek was behind our cabin and the sound of sleeping was soothing. Firewood was available to purchase for an indoor or outdoor fire in which we did. Beautiful get away to regroup from the hustle of the city. Very friendly and perfect for families. Will definitely come back. »

« This was the perfect getaway for our family to bring our dogs. There is a fenced in area making it easy to let them out. Great communication and upfront about issues with the lake that week. There are 2 other lakes in the neighborhood so that wasn’t a big issue. »

« Very nice property. Nice amenities. Beautiful lake beach access nearby. Bathroom on first floor could use an update and outlets on deck don't work but otherwise a really nice stay. »

« I stayed at this residence for three days during a road trip with my family. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions, which made check-in easy. Unfortunately, the property did not fully match the expectations set by the photos. The deck was in poor condition, with both the stairs and platform noticeably slanted and unstable. « Kids had a great time swimming, kayaking and fishing. Overall stay was great. Only gave 4 stars because of the 39 stairs which are a bit challenging for older people to lug groceries and luggage down to the house and back up again. We got to meet Terry the host who was very friendly and accommodating to our families needs. Great experience! Recommend staying here if you don’t mind stairs. »

« Me encantó la vedad fue muy linda la experiencia. Lo tranquilo. La comododidad de la casa y lo limpia. Todo me gustó recomendable. Lo único que me hubiera gustado es que la entrega de la casa fuese más temprano y la salida un poco más tarde ya que son dos días que se pierden y se puede disfrutar un poco más de resto todo es increíble. »
