« The ocean view was fantastic, but the experience had some real drawbacks. There's no direct beach access, which was a disappointment. More importantly, the unit got uncomfortably hot — the mini-split wasn't putting out cold air, and one of the oceanside windows was broken (the mechanism, not the glass), so it couldn't be opened. The other windows face Highway 101, so opening those meant trading heat for road noise.The place was clean and comfortable, and I'd consider returning if the temperature...

« Beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. It was so comfortable in every way. The kitchen was well stocked, and the downstairs family room pool and soccer tables provided great family fun time. The view was pretty great, and just a 5-minute drive to the beach. Would stay here again. »

« this was an amazing place! the view amazing! there were 16 adults we had plenty of room to spread out. near to Brookings where our event was. Beach access was a little rough for grandparents but doable. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen big enough to have several cooks, the main room very big. the host was easy and quick to respond by text. only issue we had was the pullout in game area was small for adults but fine for children. would love to go back! »

« It’s the perfect beach house. Grocery is less than 10 minutes away. House was beautiful and amenities were very well thought of. It’s next to a small camp site but it was quiet. Beds were very comfortable. We drove to Redwoods then stayed at the beach house so we were prepared for the drive to the property. »

« The location is secluded and peaceful. Didn’t have to deal with outside noises and distractions. The house needs a deep clean inside and out (we found an insulin needle in the couch). Would have appreciated cleaning supplies and more toiletries, shampoo and conditioner, more toilet paper and garbage sacks. While the house sleeps 9, the range of ages in our group we needed to use the garage mattresses which we appreciated were available but the cleanliness of them was disappointing and sleeping...

« Sasquatch Sanctuary is a beautiful secluded house with massive redwood/Sequoia stumps surrounding the house. Just 5 Minutes from town, we absolutely loved it here. The house was prepared to host all 9 of us easily and included everything we needed! »
