„Had an excellent stay here for one week in July 2025. All appliances working well, excellent queen bed to sleep in and clean bathroom. Owner was very responsive and helpful for any queries. Flooring could be improved in some areas. Neighborhood is not exactly posh but I felt comfortable soon after I arrived. “

„We had a great stay at Russ's place located on a beautiful river about a half hour outside Seward. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Although there is no stove (we knew that from the listing), we figured out the hot plate and it was fine for our purposes of cooking breakfast. The rest of the kitchen was well equipped. Russ was very communicative and very nicely agreed to send an item that we accidentally left in one of the rooms. We loved our time there!“

„Enjoyed our stay at Slumber village! Close to restaurants, easy to find, off street parking, and inside, towels fluffy, heater worked well for those cold Alaska nights, bed comfortable. We didn’t cook so cannot comment on oven or stovetop. Tall dining table with stools in front room. Had a request and on site host able to respond promptly. Even forgot an item and host sent it by mail back to my home when meet up timing didn’t work for both parties! I would rent here again. “
