5 Stars – Perfect Family Getaway!We had a wonderful stay at this condo and would definitely return! The unit was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked (especially the kitchen). It was spotless and came fully equipped with dishes, cooking utensils, and even cleaning supplies, which made cooking and cleaning up a breeze during our stay.The amenities were perfect for our young family. There were two pools plus a fun kid-friendly splash pool that our 2-year-old absolutely loved and kept her entertained! Beach access was quick and easy, and we really appreciated the nearby wash stations for rinsing off sandy feet before coming back inside. The condo also provided beach towels and sandcastle building tools, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our beach days even more fun.Communication with the management team was prompt and effective, any questions we had were answered quickly, and the whole process was smooth from booking through our stay.The only area we felt could be improved was the check-in process. It seemed that anyone with our reservation information (as long as they were listed on the booking) could check in without much verification, which felt a bit too open.Still, this didn’t take away from what was otherwise an amazing, family-friendly vacation spot. We highly recommend this condo and look forward to staying again!

Quick walk to the beach

Our family of 7 stayed here for the beach. While we normally head to Port A for quick trips or Mexico for longer, this was a good compromise for a few nights. We don't care about the pools and only go for the beach. The beach was so much better than Port A. There is tar, so that did add some time to cleanup before we went back to the condo. It was worth it though. The sand was great, and the waves were perfect for boogie boarding. This unit was well-suited for our kids, ages 3-14. They supplied beach toys, chairs, and games. The balcony was a bit disappointing. It overlooked the lagoon, over a parking lot instead of the Gulf, and it seemed slanted and not quite safe. However, we were thankful to have a view with water. The kitchen was well-stocked. We cooked breakfast and lunch each day there and wanted for nothing. We bring our own blender for daquiris, but they have one in the unit, which was convenient. We could make pina coladas, too! A maintenance person, who only spoke Spanish, walked into the unit while our little one was napping, to work on a door. That was a bit frustrating, but the owner communicated with us quickly and apologized for the misunderstanding going to our unit instead of another one. Overall, we've stayed in better units, and we've stayed in much worse. This one fit what we were looking for at the price point we wanted. The beach access was the selling feature.

Great place to stay with a large group!

My husband and our three children, along with my two parents (7 total of us) chose to stay at this property for our family vacation. It was wonderful. There is ample space to spread out in the living room for movie nights after long beach days, there is a large dining table that we utilized daily for lunches and dinner, and the kitchen is fully stocked, which is a hard thing to say and mean because you really never know what another person’s definition of “fully stocked” means. There are many pots and pans of several sizes, enough silverware for 10 place settings, plastic and ceramic dishes for eating and drinking, almost any kind of cooking utensil (except a potato masher <— this is needed), and the appliances work great and are clean and modern. Each room has a good amount of linens, shampoo and conditioner and body wash in pump bottles (this is great because many condos simply offer a small travel size of each and it only lasts a family of seven one shower, if that, so the large pumps were amazing!), and there are sand toys and beach chairs and beach towels available in all of the closets of the bedrooms. Only complaints would be the slick floors (which, it is *impossible* to not bring sand into the condo and the sand makes these marble floors more slick), no fans in the bedrooms which made them feel stuffy, very dirty windows in the bedrooms which obscured the views of the bay, and a few other minor things such as missing a potato masher. Overall, we had a great time!

SPI Memorial Day Vacation

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Bahia Mar Solare for Memorial Day weekend. We had the best time exploring South Padre Island and looked forward to coming back to our private sanctuary to rest up for the next day's activities. The condo had everything we needed for a nice, relaxing stay. Serena provided excellent customer service before, during and after our stay. The pictures accurately represented the condo and the beds were very comfortable. We'll definitely be back and look forward to staying here again for our next SPI beach vacation!

Wonderful Condo

Located a short walk to the beach, this condo is in a 12 story building and has views of the gulf of Mexico. It is clean and well appointed with all of the cooking, cleaning, TVs and other essentials which you would expect. It is a short drive to the restaurants and park on the Island. I highly recommend staying here.

The condo was as listed. Very nice and comfortable. The view from balcony is beautiful. The condo was not ready when we arrived and had to check in and hour later then 4:00. The beach is a bit farther then indicated; very difficult for handicapped person. Over all the stay was good and as promised.

Clean, close to beach

Clean property with lots of space. The walk to the beach is less than 10 minutes. Serena was great, helped us get all checked in, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing VIEW of bay and ocean!

The check-in process was easy. We did have to wait 45 minutes because cleaning crew being short staffed. Other than that everything was great!! The security staff sticked to the rules. Tight security!! A good thing for safety. Beach access area was clean. Swimming pool was amazing! The room plenty of folding chairs and beach stuff for having a good time. Kitchen had all we needed. Overall…we had fun!! Highly recommended.

Great property!

This is a great property! Very trendy and comfortable! Love the decor! The kitchen is stocked with equipment, pots, pans, cups, glasses, dishes, and silverware - you just need your food ingredients and seasonings. The onsite team was great, and it was a very short walk to the beach. This is our 2nd year renting our unit. Only thing I’d recommend is having a window cleaning service for the MB bedroom and DB Queen BD windows so we can have the clear, pristine view seen from the living room and dining room windows.

Relaxing Family Vacation
