SPI rental

We had a great time. The house is perfect distance to the beach, shopping, eating, etc. The neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen cooking dishes were limited for large groups but we made it work. Contrary to what we were told there were hairdryers and a keurig if that helps future renters.

Love this place! Will be back

We really loved the full kitchen. It is fully stocked with all the kitchen appliances and equipment to cook full meals. Each nice sized bedroom has its own private bathroom plus a powder room downstairs. The landscaping is beautiful! We brought our dog along and really appreciated the fully fenced in backyard. The weather was not good enough to enjoy the pool or hot tub. We hope to be able to take advantage of them the next time we stay.

Fabulous Home and backyard

This home was perfect for our family. Our grandsons enjoyed the pool, the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The home is furnished nicely and is very comfortable. The backyard landscaping is very attractive. We hope to rent it again when we return to South Padre.

Very well stocked and comfortable home! Three suites means everyone has their own bathroom! Our family had a blast. Only negative was that the hot tub didn’t work, but property management attempted to get it fixed.

Great pre-Thanksgiving getaway

The house was a great space for our teens and us to share space in the kitchen/dining/living area or out by the pool, and we each had our own bedroom and bath to relax and rest. Beach access in 2 blocks and within 5 - 10 minutes of almost all of the attractions.

This house is absolutely beautiful. It was exactly as the pictures portrayed. Our family loved everything about our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pool was very refreshing. It was a true home away from home experience.

Great Vacation Rental - Requires Too Much Personal Information

The property was just as advertised. It was very clean and comfortable. It is nice having a private pool and hot tub in the backyard in addition to being a 5 minute walk from the beach. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review is that they will require you to sign a separate contract, outside of the VRBO contract, and they will require that you send them photos on the front and back of your drivers license and credit card. Due to this, I will not rent again from SPI. There is no reason why they need photos of these cards. They should simply request to see them at check-in. You also have to download their own mobile app for all of the check in and property details. There is no reason why this can't all be handled within the VRBO app. Summary: great property but they seem to be careless with collecting so much personally identifiable information unnecessarily.

Overall GREAT stay but…

The house was gorgeous, has a fully loaded kitchen for a family that cooks & was VERY clean! I wish the host left more instructions for the spa and pool use as I had to call maintenance for help. You can only heat one or the other at a time and the pool never hit the 85 degrees as stated, after 9-10 hrs. The hot tub fit 6 adults and two kids (8 & 11) comfortably but the spa did turn off randomly so just monitor while warming up but it only takes 2 hrs. The propane bbq pit was small so don’t plan on grilling for a large group. Also, there isn’t a sleeper bed sofa downstairs that I planned on putting my niece & nephew on. It sleeps more like 2 small 2-4 yr old children so my nephew had to sleep on the floor. Also, one more detail worth noting, the queen bedroom bathroom has no door to the toilet which doesn’t allow much privacy if two people need to be in the bathroom at the same time.

Nice and clean property.

The house was very clean it had everything we needed in the kitchen and the pool area was also nice. The bedrooms were awesome as well and overall our stay was great we enjoyed staying there. I recommend it and I will come back and stay at the same place if possible on my next visit.

Great Family Stay!

Overall this place was beautiful, clean and so spacious! Just like the pictures, the pool and backyard area is huge. Stayed with family (adults, kids and dog), everyone had a great time. The kitchen is nice and big, the BBQ grill was great, lots of pool time. Very close walk to the beach, gas station down the street. Would recommend and will be back!

Beautiful

Beautiful updated home. Only thing couldn't find a broom to sweep the kitchen or other rooms. Also bathtub was amazing but blunger was broken. We had to use a towel . Other than that, it was relaxing and not far from the beach. We will definitely stay here again.
