Hotel Sud de Wichita

« It is not a new hotel but very clean. »

« I rented 7 rooms for a family gathering. Paid 2,300 for 2 nights. Repeatedly asked for extra bedding for the fold out couches and was always told in the wash. One room door wouldn’t lock when leaving. Did switch rooms but no discount and that door ended up doing the same thing. No discount. One room was straightened and bed remade but door was left ajar. The overhead light in our room was out . Was always told no maintenance on the weekend. Just frustrated all the way around!! »

« We had booked 2 rooms. One room smelled like smoke horribly. The other rooms bathroom had a horrible leak shooting up to the ceiling and the shower curtain was moldy. The floor was soft so the water has been damaging the bathroom for awhile. Stains in sheets and burn holes in blankets. »

« The only thing I didn't complain was the front desk lady , she was so nice,but We did not feel safe. The hotel smells like cigarette and weed every day. No matter if it's a non smoke room, They do not honor receipts, my room has a kitchenette but no dishes for cooking whatsoever. Not at all helpful. We got there and they only have full beds, false advertising they don't have queen beds which we booked for. There'snt curtains only blinds , Also, vagrants and homeless hang out around there. I...

« The entire motel smelled of smoke and dampness. Breakfast was bread for the toaster, two bananas, and fruit loops. Had to keep the very loud air conditioner running non stop to keep it comfortable. No maid service over two day stay. Get what you pay for »

« We never unpacked in our room. There were stains on the bed and mold in the shower. We stood at the front desk for 30 minutes and no one came so we left our keys and left the property. I tried to call the hotel 26 times in the next 24 hours and no one would answer. The front desk clerk hangs out in one of the rooms and watches a camera over the front desk. The swimming pool was green and had algae in it. This place looks like a rent by the hour place and needs shut down. »

« We were in a room on the corner of 9&phillips and the street noise was quite loud until midnight »

« We did a quick overnight at this hotel and it was very nice. Clean, quiet facility with good beds and good showers. »

« Picked this place specifically for the water park. Called ahead to confirm the dates/times it was open. Let’s just say, we had some very sad kids. »

« The room looked and smelled clean. Looks like they forgot to sweep part of the room but house cleaning cleaned it up the next day »

« There was a very bright light on the outside of the building that was shining right in our room. It made it hard to go to sleep. It’s room 109. So if you get that room, request another one. But everything else was great. I would definitely stay here again. »

« The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. There was a large loud group and she made sure we were far away from that. Our room ac was not working and they walked us through on how to fix it. It didn’t blow super cool but it did work. Room remained pretty humid. Comfortable room, the shower door was off the track and my husband fixed that. All and all an ok stay especially for the location price and vicinity to where we wanted to be. »
