« Expedia reservations made at Hampton are treated with rudeness when the manager Jack says "Oh this is a 3rd party reservation and there is nothing I can do to help you with anything at all!" They made no attempt to assist us with a late (next day) arrival on a 2 night stay. « This was my halfway-ish stop on a trip from St. Louis, MO to Mayo. I needed a comfortable room for one night that wouldn’t break my budget, and this hotel delivered. The room was clean and comfortable, and the free hot breakfast was great! Staff were all pleasant, helpful, and busy—everywhere I looked, folks were cleaning up and making sure everything was in tip top shape. « The clerk at check in was nice. They even checked our room to see if it was done to let us in a bit early. They said the room was done but we found someone ice cream cones in the fridge, the bathtub had lots of hair in it that was not ours, the shower cur6was really dirty and needed washed. We tried to turn on the TV. It didn't work, tried to call front desk to tell them, phone didn't work, toilet was broken and ran after flushing it (unless you jiggled the handle). « Exceptionnel. Les villas à 2 chambres sont très spacieuses et d'une propreté impeccable. Cuisine entièrement équipée y compris avec lave linge, sèche linge, le linge de maison et les produits vaisselle. Site très calme en plein milieu des champs, peut-être un peu trop éloigné du centre de Nauvoo. Dans l'une des 2 chambres, aucune lampe de chevet. Cet équipement devrait être ajouté. »

« Gorgeous old mansion on a hill! It has been meticulously restored and is so peaceful and quiet. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic as well. Highly recommend. »

« The food was wonderful and very fresh! The beds were very comfortable! Each room is thermostatically controlled and has its own charm. The floors and stairs are creaky but adds to the charm of an old home. Laurie is such a great host! We enjoyed her company very much! She made our stay so nice! We would definitely stay there again! »
