« i stayed here with my cousin to see the poppies on the pier and the fireworks.The room was really good clean and quiet being away from the noisy part of Southend but still on seafront and just 20mins walk was good for us.The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful we spent the eve in the bar and we will def stay there again.A really lovely great little hotel. »

« Située dans le Guest House à coté de l'hôtel, dans une rue en ruine, la chambre est restée dans son jus des années 80 et SURTOUT, je ne sais qui logeait dans les autres chambres mais tout le monde fumait ! Je suppose donc que l'alarme incendie était hors service ! Irrespirable (2 jours plus tard nos vêtements et valises empestent encore) ! L'extrême courtoisie des managers n'arrive pas à compenser la décrépitude du lieu. »

« The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area. »

« We had a lovely stay at The Ship Inn. The room was really clean, bright and comfortable and plenty of space to relax in. Nice to have good quality coffee and tea facilities in the room and reasonably priced items on offer in room if you wanted it. Loved the roomy shower in the bathroom. La gérance est très arrangeante et n'a pas hésité à nous fournir une chambre de plus suite à un problème de réservation. Chambres propres et de bon niveau d'équipement. Restaurant dans l’hôtel.
