« I had an amazing stay! A quick little get away from all the Hussle and bustle of life, I stayed for 3 days. It was so quiet and peaceful, close to all the things I wanted to see. I went to go see Garden of the Gods. The property was clean and well kept, the trails on site were well kept and beautiful. »

« We had a great stay. The place was very clean and comfortable. The beds were so nice. Our favorite was sitting out on the deck overlooking the river. It was a peaceful getaway. We were even able to take a short trail down to the river. I highly recommend a stay here. »

« Had a weekend getaway to STL. This place was perfect for everyone. The only con would be tgat it lacked home vibes. There wasnt any decir and was bare bones. But that isnt a big deal at all. I would absolutely book this place again next time qe go! »

« This is a nice place to stay is a little worn. But overall clean, great view, plenty of room. Kayaks are shared with 3 other properties but is enough for everyone. We had a great experience. »

« The stay was wonderfully relaxing. Great location! The accommodations were right by Feather Hills Winery and near many others. Comfortable, clean, and we loved the hot tub! Would definitely stay again if back in the southern Illinois wine country! »

« Enjoyed every minute. The river-facing windows and deck allowed us to experience the view all day and night. Don’t be fooled by the charming vintage exterior because the amenities are all in excellent condition. The mattresses are among the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The bathroom is luxurious with the jacuzzi being everything you could ask for. Close to spectacular hiking trails and scenery. Highly recommend! »

« The house was amazing! It was beautifully decorated & was clean. There were ample bath/kitchen towels, cleaning supplies, toiletries etc. that allowed our stay to be comfortable. With 2 living, dining & kitchen areas, it gave our group much more space to spread out comfortably. There is plenty of parking & great outdoor space. We’ve already booked for next year! »

« We had an awesome stay. The host had stocked kitchen with coffee and snacks, checked in with us, and everything was just as described. Nice location on the wine trail. »

« The owner was wonderful to work with! We made a wrong turn getting there and she was quickly available to get us where we needed to be. She also was kind enough to let us get in early when we had a little issue. Cabin was nice and comfortable. We loved the hot tub and if you love birds, we were sung to every day by the most beautiful songs. It’s a great location! »

« We could not be happier with our stay. The house was the perfect size for our group of 6. The dock was a great feature to have and allowed us to be able to keep our boat in the water the whole weekend. The house was super clean and very well taken care of. I will definitely rent this house again for future trips to Lake Of Egypt. »
