They are in excellent condition. Each room on the first floor has its own pattern. This beautiful house has so much character. Mary is a gracious host. She welcomed us and our toddler warmly, and we left feeling like family. »

« This is our second time at this property and we just love it! It’s a very intimate setting, very quiet, romantic, and private. Minutes away from downtown Lake Geneva, so many restaurants so many shops, so much to do! The cottage is spotless, it has everything you need, it is absolutely beautiful and the service is above and beyond. Highly recommend! »

« The one thing I will caution future guests about is breakfast. It’s one menu selection (there is no menu to choose from) for everyone every morning. So if you’re a picky eater or have lots of food sensitivities, this could be a real hassle. It is served in your room only, and delivery runs a bit on island time. So if you have timed plans in the morning, make sure to give yourself an extra half hour buffer to account for possible breakfast delays. Other than that, I had an absolutely fabulous...

« Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. »
