„The cottage is all that we had hoped for and more. It’s beautiful and clean and as stated, cozy. The river and ponds were an added bonus. It was so peaceful and relaxing. It felt like we were in a different world. We hated for the week to end. The owners were very kind and assisted when needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better week. “

„We went to visit my daughter (sophomore at App State). She brought her roommate and I brought my mother in law and my 7 year old daughter. We had a really good time. The house was beautiful and clean. My 7 year old loved the ‘babbling Brooke’ in the back and watching deer in the morning. We visit Boone often but this was our first time visiting West Jefferson. It was wonderful! Would definitely go again! “

„Great location. Nice to hear Big Wilson Creek in the evening. Enjoyed seeing some good sized trout in the stream, but left my flyrod at home. Lucky fish. Saw several species of birds and heard more. We love blueberry picking in nearby Grayson Highlands State Park. We worked hard for our berries, but they are worlds better tasting than domestic berries and fun to pick. „Would recommend to anyone. Host went out of their way . Lots of surprises. pastries, cheese, and wine waiting for us when we got there. Bags were very very comfortable. Location was perfect for all any winery that you can imagine to take time out to go visit. Home was very cozy. Very comfortable. Will come back again.“

„My son and I did a motorcycle trip and stayed here. Perfect guys getaway place and launchpad to ride the snake and other great roads around there. Not sure why the listing says there’s a hot tub but we didn’t care. Love the big porch! Hope the place is maintained and available again in the future.“
