This whole experience was amazing start to finish. The location is perfect. It’s just around the corner from the main river and Roger’s Park, but on a canal so not too much traffic in your backyard. There was, however, plenty of manatee traffic. We spent a good portion of our time there just watching the water from the dock or the screened in patio. In addition to the manatees, we saw loads of fish, some turtles, even an otter without even leaving the house. The kayak selection was super appreciated as we were first timers and it was nice to be able to try the kayaks and the SUP boards to find our preferences. Our 9-year-old loved paddling on the youth kayak, swimming and snorkeling in the canal, using the rope swing and inflatable lounge chair, as well as the new lily pad that he was honored to break in. There was fishing equipment, a fire pit, lots of outdoor seating. The house itself had everything we could have needed. The bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, & body wash in each shower. There were plenty of bath & beach towels, wash cloths, etc. In the closet of the queen bedroom, there were loads of life jackets & whistles, extra pillows & blankets, a couple fans, extra laundry baskets. There was detergent & laundry sheets in the laundry room. The kitchen was fully stocked. We used the blender and keurig daily. The living room was comfy with 2 full sofas. Ceiling fans everywhere, which was a plus. Deron was super helpful & responsive. We can’t wait to come back!

Fin & Tonic exceeded our expectations! Cute, clean and very well equipped; it felt like home! We loved swimming off the dock and using the various kayaks and SUP boards to get around the river! Manatees were a daily sight, either right from the dock or on our river adventures. Highly recommend. Owner (?), Deron, was very friendly and reachable should we have had any questions. Our top two recommendations would be 1) visit Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, to see the mermaids and swim in the spring-fed lagoon and waterpark… and 2) dine at The Silver Dolphin, fantastic food and friendly service with a quaint yet quirky 'diner-meets-secret-garden' kinda vibe.

This is our favorite place to stay in Weeki Wachee. We stayed for over 2 months this past winter. We saw lots of manatees behind the house in the canal. The back patio is great for fishing and hanging out by the fire. The floating dock is ideal for launching one of the many kayaks they provide and for tying up your boat. The house had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable for our extended stay. It's a great quiet area with everything you need for restaurants and shopping within 15 minutes. You can kayak down the river or take the boat out toward Mud River or the ocean to fish. Pine Island is great for a beach sunset and only 15 minutes away. Definitely stop in at La Bella Napoli for Italian and the Lazy Lizard in Hernando for live music. Marker 48 brewing is a cool spot with lots of music and events as well. The host checked in multiple times during our stay to see if we needed anything. It's a great rental, just book it!

Devon is an awesome host. They had coffee pods ready for us and Koozies that are super cute! But above all that the outdoor space was amazing for our family, fires were had and a great time. The rooms were clean and we abused the kitchen cooking 3 gumbo's and it held up great LOL They had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quite and quaint.Looking forward to staying again!

“We had a wonderful stay at the Fin and Tonic! The location was perfect—just a short paddle to Rogers Park, the beach, and waterfront dining. The house was spotless when we arrived, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We loved the variety of kayaks and paddleboards available, including a tandem. The floating dock made launching and boarding a breeze. The host was extremely responsive and provided great local recommendations and updates on area happenings.”

Deron was extremely welcoming!! It was easy to communicate with him and he responds right away. The house was perfect! Lots of parking space. We had everything we needed. Coffee and water bottles were waiting for us. Everything was super clean and smelled good! Smell is important for me! There were a lot of water toys and nice backyard furniture. We saw 3 dolphins, crabs and fish right from the dock and 4 manatees at Hospital Hole, a short kayak from the house. We also enjoyed The Mermaid show a short drive away. Grocery stores, shopping and Tesla charger were all close by. Even a well stocked Asian grocery store!We will definitely come back to make more memories!

Fin and Tonic - The River Retreat

The location of the house is perfect for visiting the area. The indoor areas, linens, and towels were clean and the screen porch was used almost exclusively during our stay. The outdoor areas are where we thought the place could use a little attention. The kayaks and paddle boards have had a lot of love! You need to be pretty fit to get them in and out of the water too. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and recommend it. We saw the mermaids at the park, slid on the slides, took an airboat tour and of course paddled and kayaked in our neighborhood and enjoyed talking with some of the neighbors. The nights were quiet and we did see dolphins and fish in clear waters of the canal.

Weekend trip family of four

My family and I stayed for 3 nights and It was our first time visiting Weeki wachee Springs.The property was exactly as described and hosts were easy to get in contact with. Property was very close to the local marina and also have to add, that the property is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures. Definitely a vacation home that we look forward to staying at again in the near future.

Great little river vaca

The stay was great! The water wasn't as clear as I hoped but my kids still jumped in. They loved the swing and canoe! One negative are the floors, they are loud so once someone is up, everyone was up. The biys were looking forwarf to smores, but Florida has been a slight drought so we passed on that. Other than those items, everything was wonderful!

Paradise on the river

We absolutely love are trips to the river. Our hosts have gone out of their way to make sure they think of every detail. We had everything we needed. After a long day on the river, this is a great place to hang with the family. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. This was the third time we have stayed at this property!

We really enjoyed our short stay. The property is tidy and inviting. We saw Manatees, otters, and even a dolphin, all from the dock. Check in and out was easy. It was a great getaway. My 17 and 18 year old daughters loved it.

Great location

We saw tons of Manatees!! We were outside a lot so we really enjoyed the fire pit and we absolutely loved kayaking and paddle boarding!! We paddled a short distance to hospital hole and fished right off the back yard. Such a relaxing getaway. The walls are not very sound proof and you can easily hear conversations even with the doors closed… just an FYI. Not a big deal for us as we spent most of our time outside. Thank you so much for letting us stay in you home!!

Perfect weekend Getaway

I brought my grandson and two friends, all age 14, for the weekend. We had a great time. They stayed occupied out back with the dock, kayaks, paddles boards, etc. I would definitely recommend.

Manatee dreams

My son and I traveled from WV to see the manatees. Everything was safe and secure. Wonderful quiet neighborhood. Convenient water access. We found the manatees in no time! We also saw an otter and a manatee right off the back dock. Awesome property to enjoy!

Love the rope swing!

My kids had so much fun swimming off the dock and using the rope swing :-) the kayaks were great even though some of them had damaged handles and were difficult to load. I would definitely recommend this property for some fun and low maintenance fun :-)

Cute House

This house is adorable and a great location. It has all the water toys a family could want. (Unfortunately it was too cold to use them when we were there.) Owner Tyson did a great job remodeling after the hurricane. It even had shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower, which was great, but I couldn't get the shampoo and conditioner to work. Only reason i gave it 4 stars.
