We had reserved a room with 1 queen bed. When we checked in, the person at the front desk asked if we wanted to upgrade to a 2 queen bed room at no additional charge. I agreed. In the hallway on the way to the room, the carpet looked very worn out (maybe just the pattern). Got into the room, and there is food from the last guest on the floor, and the refrigerator wobbled making it difficult to open. In the bathroom, the shower head is so low that I hit my head on it while trying to wash my hair (I'm only 5'7"), the shower door leaked to the point that there was standing water on the floor when I got out of the shower creating a slip hazard. There was also tile along the baseboard in the bathroom that was coming apart. The electrical outlets were completely inadequate. It was so bad that the had the alarm clock across the room from the bed and it was plugged into the lamp that was over there. The advertise that they have queen size beds, they do not. These are full size beds. We have a queen at home, and we are not sleeping on top of each other every night.
The only was that this property has as high of a review score as it does is because the staff is making fake account to give them good reviews. I would not send my worst enemy to stay at this place, let alone someone that I cared about. This place needs to be gutted and start over.
