« Very close to Linville Falls walking trails and just off the designated blue ridge parkway access road. It had heating which was great for drying clothes and on a very wet and windy night. Very large and comfy bed. There were no coffee/tea making facilities in room and you had to go to the reception building (separate and no undercover route) to get hot water (and take your own instant coffee/tea). « Love this spot how much fun if you had a family with you it was clean the food truck had excellent food convenient to where we were heading and actually I loved it. The only issue I had was the young lady at the bar was kind of not helpful when I asked her simple questions like how do I order my food otherwise I would highly recommend and highly stay here again. One of the best places we’ve been in the river was just to hop skipping away, and it was beautiful morning to be down by it. »

« Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

« Only concern was not knowing soap for shower was not included, as well as Kleenex Usually these 3 items also need to be included or even told to bring! Pace was clean, first night and next day were fogged in so we have good chance to catch up with our family. Next day was beautiful! Thank you for opportunity to visit you seven bedroom home! »
