„Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Familienaufenthalt. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liegt wunderbar ruhig am Hang mitten im Wald. Im Winter sollte man auf jeden Fall einen Allradantrieb haben, um das Haus sicher erreichen zu können. Wir haben beide Skigebiete ausprobiert und fanden Smugglers Notch noch schöner als Stowe.“

„We had a wonderful time. The cottage was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was ideal. The cottage has everything you need - washer/dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, TV and WiFi. The sunsets over the lake were beautiful. “

The house is a 2 minute walk to Fisk Farm and the Fisk quarry site of the Chazy reef formation (Ordovician), and 10-15’ walk to southern trails that start near Turner farm and traverse Ordovician to Cambrian strata. Well-equipped kitchen was a pleasure in which to cook and host visiting friends and family. Back yard extends to meadow fields and had raspberry and thimbleberry patches plus apples, as well as an outdoor ...

„The house was great, has 2 kitchens fully stocked with almost everything you need. We stayed as a large group and the kitchens were great for feeding everyone! There was plenty of sitting space as well and the rooms were warm. The Game room was next door and a great hang out place for the kids. Overall great for a multi family trip or a group traveling together“

„The views are absolutely breathtaking. Can’t wait to come back. The island has so many hidden gem food spots. There were so many spider webs and big spiders around inside and outside, it could have used some extra love and cleaning. It gets a little loud when speeding cars go by. I wish the parking spot was a little bit larger/safer as well. “

„We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation in Swanton. The house was as advertised and the accommodations were perfect. The view of the lake and the beautiful sunsets were breathtaking. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. So much fun! Kyle was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We truly enjoyed our week and would highly recommend this home to others for their family vacation!“

„Overall an amazing home with beautiful scenery and great proximity to Kreamer & Kin, Heroes Welcome and North Hero House. The twin beds were tough for adults. Nothing the owner can do - and certainly aren’t being critical of anything they did - but the Brazo Zulu restaurant neighbor is a little rough. They play very loud, bad music almost nonstop. This was especially annoying in the morning when you’re trying to relax and enjoy the lake and mountains. Still highly recommend staying here but ...
