  • Oceanfront 2 chambres, 2. 5 salles de bain maison de ville. Il est meublé d'un lit king dans la suite principale, de deux lits jumeaux dans la chambre d'amis et d'un canapé-lit. Il y a trois téléviseurs et un lecteur DVD. Carreaux de céramique au rez-de-chaussée, ce qui le rend frais pour l'été et se nettoie facilement du sable et des tapis dans les chambres. L'unité a une laveuse / sécheuse et son propre accès Internet pour enregistrer votre téléphone sur les données. Cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle.

The kitchen was the BEST stocked out of any condo I've ever rented which is a big deal for me, thank you! It was also nice to have a couple chairs to use (which is convenient for out of state folks -especially northerners that can't justify keeping/traveling with beach chairs) thank you! The pools area is always great and the property is well kept always. The office staff is so friendly and helpful each time - I hope to be back with my family next year. Ciao!

Not the greatest place

Adequate, but not renter friendly. For example, all the other places I’ve stayed provided books and games for rainy days. This place had none and it rained the entire time we were there. There weren’t enough drinking glasses, for use to have three meals without having to was glasses. Had lots of wine glasses though. The hide a bed was a joke - no mattress The ice maker didn’t work (a disconnected water line) and when the line was connected the ice maker wouldn’t shut off. It just kept spewing ice into the freezer. It just seemed to me that the owner was interested in income, but not expecting guests to want to come back again. The location was great. Beach front and quick walk to beach. Just not a place that made me want to return.

Needs Updating

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will list the items that we felt were badly in need of updating. The master bed’s matress is in terrible shape. Needed to be replaced a long time ago. The blind in the master bedroom window is broke. It’s half open/half closed. You cannot operate it. The carpeting is need of a good cleaning or replacement. The living room furniture needs to be replaced. The sofa/pull out bed is terrible. We went out and bought an air matress for my grand daughter to sleep on. Almost all of these items that I listed were in a review from October 2023 that I read after I had rented this unit. The condo was clean and the office staff / maintenance staff were great. We had some other problems that they took care of right away. The office staff is very well aware of the problems with unit.

Unit 462 is "Serviceable, at best".

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Overall, we enjoyed the property and amenities. The location of Summerhouse is convenient and the staff were fantastic. Cons: The water coming out of every faucet or shower had a foul odor when we used them. By the 3rd day, either it was gone or we had become accustomed to it. Master Bathroom & Shower: Unusable due to massive lack of pressure and smell from water. The only outlet in the bathroom did not work at all. Master Bedroom ceiling fan made constant noise and had to be turned off at night in order to stay asleep. Without the fan, this meant the HVAC needed to work harder and it simply struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature.Refrigerator made a strange noise every time the ice maker called for water. We genuinely thought a bird had somehow found its way into the unit. Lighting: Several lamps and fixtures either had no bulbs or had bulbs that did not work. The upstairs carpets have stains and may be the original carpet from when the unit was built (mid-80’s, perhaps?). The décor matches this time-frame as well. We'll come back to Summerhouse however, we will not ever return to Unit 462.

Enjoyed Summerhouse But the Unit 462 Disappointed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we really like this property. The location is great, the beach is relatively quiet and very nice with great beach access. The pools are clean and common grounds very nicely maintained. We've stayed at Summerhouse many times over the past 20 years and always loved it. However, we were very disappointed with Unit 462. The owners obviously are in it for the money only - it is so neglected. Carpets were disgusting with ground in dirt, stains and appears to be 20 years old. Blinds in bedrooms were broken - in the master, nearly 1/3 of the blinds were broken off; no sleeping in past dawn here. A closet door was missing in master, others broken. The beds were so uncomfortable and noisy, it was difficult to sleep. Guest bathtub was clogged and slow to drain, Refrigerator and stove were dirty. Needless to say, this was not our usual pleasant stay. This unit should not be rented until it is cleaned, repaired, carpet replaced, furniture replaced and appliances repaired and cleaned. I will say the management company was very apologetic. But my advice, do not rent this unit without asking if upgrades and basic maintenance has been done. The cost is high and for the money, you deserve better. I left my recommend as Yes for Summerhouse in general, not for this Unit.

Beautiful location but TLC definitely needed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit was in a great location, with amazing sunrise views. The townhouse is spacious and offers many amenities - truly a home away from home. Unfortunately, the unit is in desperate need of some TLC and upgrades. The appliances are old and make noises, the carpets are stained, the tv's are small, the furniture is very outdated and the whole unit needs to be painted. We brought our concerns to Josh and Deb T. and they immediately fixed what was in their control. They were quick to give it a deep clean and replace the blown bulbs. Kudos to the great maintenance staff! They replaced the AC/Heat unit, the microwave, the burners and drip pans, and provided amenities that were missing like working knives, a shower caddy, a blowdryer, and oven mitts. We were very impressed and grateful for the quick attention that we received.

The property is pleasant and Well-maintained. Larry is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The unit, however needs some TLC (paint), furniture, and decor are very tired-looking and. Update use updating. Housekeeping should be done every month...bathrooms, floors, refrigerator, stove, etc. plumbing should be checked often. This unit could use new windows, screen door, and balcony door.

Reviewer Comments: We have friends who stay here often, and they recommended the place - we even planned our stays together and were two condos away from each other. A month before our stay we were moved to a different condo in a different building with no explanation. The condo was the same price, but way less nice than the one we originally chose. It had several maintenance issues, and was in need of a remodel. We were offered no compensation for the move, either. That said, the location was amazing, the pools were nice (although I take issue with the statement that they are all heated, as the one closest to us was very cold), and the condo was clean and a super easy walk to the beach. I would recommend only because the friends who recommended it to us were also surprised at the condition of our condo (theirs was remodeled and WAY nicer - but yep, same price) and the fact that we were moved with no explanation.

Windows, balcony door, screen, front screen door really need to be replaced. I purchased a scatter rug for the living room area, new placemats for the dining room table, a doormat for the outside and one for the inside in my attempt to warm and personalize the place. The front entrance screen door really bothers me with the rust and broken slats. Please do some updating.

Townhouse 462

Reviewer Comments: Love the location, the view is unbeatable, but the property needs a complete updating. 1) The original door leaked on windy rainy days and the screen did not latch properly to prevent bugs from entering. 2) The sofa is comfortable and has a piece of plywood for support. 3) The faucet in downstairs bathroom was dripping. 4) The stair carpet and upstairs carpeting need cleaning. 5) The window in the guest bedroom has no lock which allowed the wind to whistle and leak. 6) Furniture badly in need of updating. Stuck in the 1980’s. 7) Kitchen needs updating.

Great location but needs repairs/updates

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location can’t be beat. The grounds and amenities were lovely. However, this rental is in need of several repairs and updates. The most important repair would be having the sliding glass door that accesses the patio to look at the ocean repaired ASAP! We couldn’t get it open the first day so called the office. They did promptly send a crew out to try to fix it, but after several hours they were unable to do so. The next day a door specialist arrived, but he took a quick look at it and said it needed more serious repair work. So basically we were minimally able to access the patio our entire vacation. That’s not acceptable when you’re paying for ocean front property. The next big concern are all of the broken vertical blinds on every window in the unit. In the master there were at least four vertical blinds stacked in a corner when we arrived. The sun will shine in directly on your face in the master. The same thing was in the family room. Almost every blind had been taped or glued in attempt to rig it up. Seriously. For the amount of money for a week, it is very justified to make these simple repairs. And finally there is a beat up wooden slatted door that supposedly access a screen to the entrance of the unit. Several slats were broken and it doesn’t close completely. Maybe the best thing to do with this one is rather than re-place it just simply remove it would look better without it there. Although dated in appearance, the unit was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

There was a tube TV in one of the bedrooms that you couldn't hook anything up to. the kitchen appliances were worn but functional. other than that it served it's purpose.
