« They have two buildings there I stayed in the exterior building because I had my dog with me. It’s great that they’re able to accommodate dogs of all sizes and breeds. However, the hotel room rooms in the other building are much nicer. They’re also larger. On the second day we were there. « We had a wonderful stay at Harriet’s House in Put-in-Bay. The room was exceptionally clean, and it was clear that great attention is given to maintaining the property. The bed was very comfortable, there were plenty of towels provided, and everything in the room was spotless—including the air conditioning unit, which was dust-free and worked great. « Every room is a suite, but prices vary, and the staff is young. They need a checklist to make sure each room has what they need (shampoo, cups, A/C on…) It’s Pretty around the pool and hot tub was big. I like the mile walk to town in the morning when it’s quiet and calm next to the lake. The entire island is relaxing with great restaurants, yummy perch and walleye bites at the Village Pump. I would return in a minute. Looking forward to going again. »
