Balluta Bay is a convenient base for moving around Malta. The apartment is well connected by public transport, taxis and ride-hailing services, with easy access to St Julian’s, Sliema, Valletta and surrounding areas.

For arrivals from the airport, the TD3 direct bus route provides a straightforward connection to the St Julian’s area. For guests who prefer a smoother arrival, we can help arrange a private taxi transfer with one of our trusted cab drivers, who already knows the property location and can take you directly to the apartment. This service is available at an extra cost and can be organised through the Airbnb messaging app.

The promenade, cafés, restaurants and swimming areas are all close by, so guests can enjoy much of the neighbourhood on foot.

Please note that the Maltese Government Eco-Contribution is payable separately where it has not already been collected through the booking.

The amount charged will always be based on the rate legally applicable to the dates of your stay. At the time of publication, the applicable rate is €1.50 per person aged 18 years or over, per night, subject to the statutory cap.

Government rates may change, and any applicable increase or amendment will be reflected according to the rate legally in force for your stay.

Payment of any outstanding Eco-Contribution will be required as part of the pre-arrival process before check-in.

Our family-friendly apartment has been thoughtfully designed to ensure both parents and little ones feel right at home during their stay in Malta. To make your holiday easier, we offer complimentary use of baby cots and high chairs upon request (subject to availability), helping you travel lighter and stress-free. Please note that linens for baby cots are not provided, so we recommend bringing your own for extra comfort.

Construction Notice
Please note that in Malta, construction and renovation works are very common and can take place throughout the year. Unfortunately, property owners are not notified in advance about when nearby works may begin or where they may occur, and therefore we are unable to predict or control any noise that might arise during your stay.
Our beautifully restored 1928 Art Nouveau building is full of history and charm. As part of our ongoing restoration project, the original lift is currently undergoing specialist maintenance to bring it back to its best. While it is operational most of the time, there may be occasional periods during your stay when it is temporarily out of service and the staircase will need to be used instead. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you need assistance with luggage at any point, please don't hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to help.

Guest registration: Maltese law requires accommodation operators to maintain a register of guests staying at the property. Guests are therefore required to complete our secure pre-arrival registration form and provide the information necessary for guest registration and identity verification.
