„Generally the hotel is good. Very quiet and peaceful with beautiful flowers all around.The staff were attentive and we enjoyed the food. There is direct access to a sandy beach and it’s possible to listen to the waves at night. The problem we had was the bed which had an extremely saggy mattress and after one night we both had neck and back pain and this just continued for the remaineder of our three night stay. I did mention it to reception on leaving but I believe they did not quite ...

„A rambling hotel in a huge colonial era building. Very spacious room but a bit low on natural light. Oddly quiet with few guests compared to Hotel La Residence across the street. Lots of beggars and men trying to sell you stuff right outside the hotel. My advice is to be polite but keep walking and they quickly peel off.“

„The hotel is pure history... you get inside and you get overwhelmed. The atmosphere, the location, the beautiful trees inside the hotel, simply everthing will make you feel like back in old days... therefore, don't expect everything to be brand new. You pay for the atmosphere. Enjoy it!“
