« Lovely room but bath with shower not suitable as sloped ceiling stopped from using shower head and couldn’t stand up in bath so being elderly. Had superior room so disappointed. Breakfast was lovely as was staff »

« Lovely accommodation in great location for exploring the New Forest. Breakfast was freshly prepared with a good selection of cooked food, although limited cold choices. Pub garden is large with various areas for sitting out. This was just as well as the Filly Inn does not have air conditioning which meant that our bedroom was far too hot to spend any time in. Shame as it was a lovely room with great shower room. The staff did provide us with a fan but it was not up to the job of cooling...

« The bunk bed room was perfect for our two younger kids. However, the lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep during our stay due to the heat. Once the weather cooled down at night, the large fan helped a lot. Parking was tight, and there are four EV chargers outside, although they are quite expensive at £0.98 per kWh. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. »

« We had a really good room . Quirky decoration and comfortable bed. It was a very hot weekend and we had a fan already in the room . Most welcome. Lovely breakfast lots of choice. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at the Walhampton Arms. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient with assisting in our requests. This is a great place to stay to experience the local town. You get the perks that come with staying in a hotel balanced with the “mom and pop” feel associated with B&Bs. We will be looking to stay at their sister locations for our next city break! »

« Lovely Garden room. Rather bijou and a particularly small bathroom. I was concerned about noise from the restaurant but it was fine (we were on 1st floor). Luxury bedsheets and duvet and decent aircon. Staff all lovely. Breakfast was fine. I had salmon and scrambled eggs on the first morning. The salmon was pretty tasteless and the eggs were dry - very disappointing and not expected from this establishment. Next morning I had smashed avocado and poached eggs which were nicer, but not...

« Nice little bar with good outside space great location a Ross from open forest. Room smelt of dog after a while and the room needs a new lick of paint as does other areas .not a bad place just a little tlc needed .also breakfast couldn't see a price anywhere so didn't pre order one as you have to do that. Would of been better table service »
