Bayshore bayou paradise!

The owners were great! They were responsive and have an amazing home that we were allowed to enjoy! The home was excellent for our family. We rode bikes to Fred Howard, to the bayou and saw so many manatee, experienced epiphany celebration of the Greek community and loved all the restaurants. However our fav was the backyard paradise!! It was so peaceful sitting in the sun, enjoying the hot tub and sitting on the dock. We enjoyed use of the kayaks too! We saw dolphin so close to the dock! The kids used the pool but not warm enough for me but my preferred temp is like bath water 😂! Thanks again for sharing your home with us!!

Christmas Holiday

The property is exactly as it listed, but additionally, the house is well stocked with everything you need. The kitchen had plenty of cooking equipment and was stocked with dry goods and spices. There were plenty of pool/beach towels. There are two Kayaks and a Canoe which you can use by walking out on the attached dock. There are several several great restaurants and a grocery store a very short drive. (5Min) The Fred Howard Park beach is an easy 5 min drive. The hosts were very responsive to all our questions and were very accommodative to our changing travel plans due to weather issues when we left our home in the north!!

Quiet retreat

We enjoyed the quiet area, hanging out on the dock, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. We saw dolphins several times and a stingray. The house was well stocked and clean, it’s been recently updated. Master and second bedrooms are comfortable. Check in was easy. Downsides of the stay: lots of driving if you want to get to a location, pool isn’t heated as advertised in the listing and hot tub also wasn’t heated due to a mechanical issue that wasn’t remedied during our 7-day stay. This was very disappointing as the heated pool and hot tub were major amenities as to why we booked here. We requested 10% reimbursement but owner wasn’t having it so we had to escalate to VRBO and we received our request. The third bedroom isn’t really much of a bedroom.

Off the beaten path vacation

The property and location were exactly what we were looking for! The owners were attentive to any questions we had and gave great recommendations for the week’s stay. The area was not as touristy as other locations nearby; however, great experiences surrounded you within an hour’s drive. It was nice to relax in the pool or throw out your fishing lines after a long day visiting the area. Would definitely consider renting the same place in return trips to tarpon springs!

Tarpon Springs Gem

We had a wonderful vacation in Tarpon Springs. The home has everything you need for relaxing; we especially loved the outdoor area, with the pool, hot tub, and dock for fishing! Downtown Tarpon Springs and the Sponge Docks are just a short drive for shopping and dining. We had wonderful meals at Rusty Bellies, Dimitri’s, Hella’s Bakery, Currents and H’ours. We took a short drive to Dunedin and had a delicious brunch on the terrace at The Wild Iris Cafe. We spent most of our time lounging by the pool and fishing off of the private dock. The home is fully stocked with everything you need! I love staying in a home like this where the owner has thought of everything to make your stay more enjoyable..plenty of garbage bags, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, pool towels and a wireless speaker for music by the pool. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable! We loved the giant master suite overlooking the pool and bayou. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We highly recommend this property! If you are planning a trip to Tarpon Springs book this home and you will not be disappointed.

What more could you ask for. Fishing, kayaking and swimming right out the back door with a beach only minutes away by car. The property was very clean and in good shape. This house had everything we needed for a great spring break. Would definitely stay again

Great stay

The home was well stocked and set up, it had everything our family needed for our spring break trip. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean on arrival. There’s a large bedroom with en suite on the main level and a master bedroom upstairs with en suite as well. The 3rd bedroom is fairly small and didn’t have window coverings so my daughter woke up with the sunrise everyday. Might not be the best set up for younger children but it worked great for a couple of teenagers. The pool and hot tub were an awesome way to relax and enjoy the sunshine. There were 2 nice fishing kayaks to use. The property could use slightly more comfortable outdoor seating, but all in all it was a peaceful and relaxing setting. It did not disappoint. Perfect for a week away. Super close to sponge docks and local beaches so we didn’t spend our time stuck in traffic. We did rent the golf cart, which was fabulous but it had a battery issue the first day we used it and we weren’t able to use it for the rest of the trip. The owners immediately refunded the golf cart rental fee and made sure we felt good about the resolution. They were very easy to get a hold of and were helpful in resolving any issues that came up. They went above and beyond. Which is a huge plus! We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a beautiful laid back vacation space.

Magical!

We spent our spring break in Tarpon Springs at this pretty, newly renovated home. Everything was clean and fresh both outside and in. Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children ages 8 and 9) had more than enough space and there is definitely room for additional children or another couple. The highlight was the backyard. The pool/hot tub area is in great condition. The private dock out the back was stunning! It sits on a saltwater bayou and we saw tons of birds, fish and several dolphins swim by. The sunrises in the morning are breathtaking and we enjoyed waking up with our cups of coffee on the spacious balcony overlooking the pool and bayou. The home is set in a super quiet neighborhood (which we really appreciated) and is within a mile or two of the historic downtown area, the sponge docks and several parks which offer nice beaches. Would absolutely stay here again!

2022 Spring Review

Greg and Jess were awesome. Very responsive to any questions. Recently renovated so from the floor to the ceiling it is new. Well stocked with the basics for daily living, ie. Kitchen pots, pans, glasses, utensils, spices ect. The pool and spa are nice. Sitting on the dock reading a book was a pleasure. We saw plenty of fish, a few dolphins and a stingray. The outside upper deck facing the bayou was comfortable and provided a good view. Overall a comfortable place to stay.

Great place for relaxing

I reserved this house early last year before any reviews were listed and I’m so glad I did! The house is very open, bright and nicely situated. The dining room table is huge - we had a puzzle going the entire time we stayed and still had room to sit down for meals. The living room has lots of seating and a huge TV. The bedrooms were nice - the single bedroom is small but worked perfectly for my single brother-in-law. The backyard is the best - the pool/hot tub combo were perfect for relaxing in the sun; my husband was on the dock fishing the whole week. We saw dolphins, sting ray, and lots of fish in the bayou. There’s also a large dining table and chaise lounges. We enjoyed the neighborhood, as well - good for walks with the dog. We suggest walking up to Fred Howard Park to watch the sunset. We all agreed that we’d definitely stay again.

Sunrise view on the bayou! A lovely, renovated home with lots of space and a beautiful backyard resort. Lots of upscale amenities including a Keurig, USB chargers next to the beds, wooden hangers in the closets, hair dryers in the bathrooms, and a Bluetooth speaker to be used by the pool. Quiet neighborhood very close to old Tarpon Springs and the sponge docks, and a short drive to the gulf beaches. We loved it!

Fantastic place and incredible location!

Absolutely gorgeous home that is right on the bayou. Close to downtown Tarpon Springs, and several parks. 1 mile from the Gulf! Beautifully decorated, clean, well stocked house that was a true pleasure to stay at. Quiet area, totally relaxing. I highly recommend this house. We will be back!

Beautiful property!!

I can’t express how pleased we were with this home! Extremely clean! Greg and Jess are great people and will come right away if you need anything! The sunsets are beautiful to watch while enjoying a dip in the pool or hot tub. Unlike any house we’ve ever rented they provide you with so many amenities. There were plenty of games for the children to play with. They also provided toilet paper etc. which was great so we didn’t have to run right to the store when we arrived. The home is beautiful and well kept! Definitely rent this home you won’t be sorry. My son proposed to his fiancé on the dock by the water out back when we were there! Just beautiful! Thank you Greg and Jess for being amazing hosts! You guys are awesome!

Wonderful Rental

Wow!! Cant say enough good things about this Beautiful home!! It was spotless & Well stocked with everything you could need comfy beds and lots of extras to make it feel like home...Owners were great to help with anything that we needed would highly recommend this vacation rental.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family's summer vacation in Tarpon Springs was all we hoped for. The home was just as seen in the pictures and offered so much more. Our family was pleasantly surprised by all of the extras that most private homes don't offer like paper products, toiletry items, and games/activities for all. This saved us from additional trips to the grocery store. We spent mornings and evenings on the dock enjoying the view, fishing and simply spending quality time as a family. The kids loved the pool area! It was very private and had plenty of space for lounging and dining after cooking on the grill. One thing that can make or break a vacation are the beds and these beds were extra comfy! The location was great - we were close to Tampa, Clearwater and even took a day trip to Orlando to visit Disney attractions. The owners were amazing! Responsive and attentive to any questions we had. Needless to say we highly recommend this property and hope to return for another stay.
