Wonderful Stay!!!
Rented a 3-bedroom/2 bath home in very close proximity to shopping, restaurants and Vinoy Park. The was meticulously clean, had comfortable beds and included every accouterments. The air-conditioning, water pressure and fans were exceptional! The home includes everything needed for a short-term or long-term stay. Bikes, lawn chairs and even beach towels were provided by the VRBO owner! We had the opportunity to meet the host, who provided information about the area, restaurants, cafes and even other homes she listed on VRBO. We actually visited another VRBO rental this host owns that is located in Indian Rocks Beach that is on a canal, included a pool, and is close to the beach! She is a peach and so is her partner James, who remained in communication and accessible at all times. Highly recommend any of Elaine’s VRBO homes. We will be visiting again!!!!!!

Perfect for N. Shore Pool swim meet
We were there for a swim meet and it was the perfect location, 8 minutes from the pool. Lovely, safe neighborhood that accommodated my morning jogs. House was very clean, plenty of towels!! Eileen was very accommodating and allowed us to drop our things off early before heading up to the pool before a team practice. She was great to work with and easy to communicate with. Hoping our team returns again next year so we can stay here again.

Perfect for our needs
Elaine is an amazing host. She communicates prior to arrival and throughout most of the stay to make sure all of your needs are met. I was able to let her know we were flying in and if she could provide a few chairs for us to use for our swim meet which she was able to do!!! She goes above and beyond as a host!!! The beds were comfy, excellent water pressure in the showers and the place was perfect for our needs of a 4-day swim meet. Super close to the pool, no traffic to get to the pool and there was a dryer to dry all of our towels...lol!!! It is close proximity to the grocery store and St. Petersburg to enjoy the restaurants and shops!! This is our 2nd time staying at this VRBO and I will continue to stay here for our swim meets as long as it is available!!! Thank you Elaine for another excellent stay!

St Petersburg - Tampa trip
The property was great for us. We were in St Petersburg to watch one daughter in a swim meet and also traveled back & forth to visit our other daughter at the Univ. of Tampa. It was also an easy drive to the beach in St Pete. Elaine was a wonderful host! She was easy to contact and available for questions and advice.

Peaceful stay at a great location
We booked this to stay during the music festival downtown and it suited us perfectly for a family of three. The addition of allowing a pet was also a great asset and she was very accommodating. Communication was first right then a book again for next year.

Spring break family trip
Overall this is a nice place but a bit far from the beach. The contact phone number for the host was wrong ( I got a text from someone at the number posted that they kept getting calls and text for a rental which was not them.) Luckily the host partner was at the property when we arrived. A bit weird that the 3rd bedroom was a dining room with flimsy room partitions in both doorways . One fell down. Lots of dishes and glassware but very little silverware. Thought there was a hot tub but it was empty and dirty.

I want to respond to this review. I sent several text from my phone number that is listed on the site and is correct to JKMK with no response. I also called him and left several messages. As for the hot tub we do not show this on the listing, in fact it has not been on the site as an amenity for years. I also advertise that the bedroom is semi private. Obviously he did not read the listing , as he asked for a late check out I said okay. But he made a mistake and checked out day early and never returned my call. As for the silver ware there was a another drawer full of silver ware. He had the air to 62. I also sent him several text to tell me if everything was good. No response I am a super host in 19 years I have only 2 4 stars this is one of them . You cant please everyone, especially when they don't return calls. One last note JKMK only has 1 5 star rating that was me. Elaine

Valerie was nice, however my home is decorated with vintage flair . I have had these furnishing for very long time. In fact guests that come like the décor, it is a warm feeling. I receive many compliments that my guests fee at home. I am a super host on 8 sites and I have been in the business for 19 years. To accomplish this is quiet rewarding. I did not know that the furnishings are an issue to someone's individual taste. My home is in a great area, very clean and pet friendly. My travelers leave very nice comments for years. Elaine

Comfortable Way to Explore the Greater Tampa Area
We wanted to spend a few days in the greater Tampa area, an area we had never before visited. This home is in a location convenient to St. Pete's (St. Petersburg, where it is located), Tampa, and Clearwater. We were also able to make a 90 minutes drive to Crystal River to swim with manatees. This house provided a comfortable spot to land after busy days and to get refreshed for another day of area adventures. There was plenty of room for our four adults and plenty of parking space for our rental car The house has a full kitchen and two bathrooms. It also has a washer and dryer. We had not expected to like the St. Pete's/Tampa/Clearwater area as much as we did and staying at this house was part of the overall rewarding time we spent there. The host communicated clearly and early with us. We had no issues requiring an immediate response, but i am confident she would have responded quickly if we had encountered an issue. We also appreciated her recommendations for things to see in St. Pete's.

Family Time in St Pete
I rented this house as it had 3 bedrooms and allowed dogs. I needed a place for my son, grandson and myself to stay. It has a nice courtyard where we set up a kiddie pool for my grandson. The location is close to a grocery store and restaurants.

Great place to stay for either a short stay or a longer stay. The owner was very accommodating and was easy to contact. The location was close to grocery stores and to Walgreens. Parking was in the back of the property but was easy to access. Was just a short drive to downtown where there was many things to do and see. Would not hesitate to recommend it for a couple or a family.

St. Pete Grand Prix weekend
We had a little issue with communications with the host trying to check in but once we got that figured out, all was great! Location was perfect for the race weekend. Elaine gave us a great little burger/bar suggestion for dinner, and it was excellent! Home was clean, beds were comfortable. The bed situation was a little quirky as you have to go thru one bedroom to get to another and one of the beds is just behind a privacy screen. My suggestion would be to put up curtains or a bifold door to at least give that bed area some privacy. Worked out fine for our visit as there were only 2 couples. House would work great for families with kids though. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and will probably book again next year for races!

Our Holiday House
We chose this Vrbo listing for our Christmas Gathering Holiday House this year! The house stands in a lovely single-family neighborhood and there are two Publix grocery stores within walking distance. Of course, the house is completely furnished and equipped right down to beautiful glass cookware, coffee mugs, and sheets and towels, but there are also special treats like bicycles, fold up canvas outdoor chairs, a jetted bathtub in the master bath, and a gorgeous enclosed courtyard patio with a barbecue grill and large Jacuzzi! We couldn’t have chosen a more lovely spot to bring our wildly scattered family of parents, kids, grandkids and grandparents together. Elaine and James were wonderful. Very friendly and especially responsive. We loved them and the house. PS – There is a ceiling fan in every room. Every room! Heaven.

Spacious, bright, comfortable and clean with an awkward layout
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was spacious enough for 4 adults and 2 dogs to enjoy a comfortable stay. Very very clean! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes / appliances and had everything we needed for cooking and coffee. Also, a nice relaxing private courtyard. Considering it was on a busy road, inside was very quiet. The only odd thing about this property was the layout. Although it has enough beds for 6, we had two adult couples and only one could have a completely private bedroom. In addition be aware that there is a separate guest house that shares the driveway, courtyard and garage, but this was a non-issue. We rarely saw our neighbor and when we did they were so nice. Regardless, our stay was wonderful. Above all, the hospitality was exceptional. The host thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. She was always available for any questions we had and when we lost the keys she was very understanding. I would definitely stay at this location again!

Harassed by creepy owner
None of enjoyed the property, especially for the price. When we booked, the location seemed like it was downtown but it is a couple of miles away. Configuration of the house was poor at best. Check-in process was creepy. Owner wanted us to call her for some reason and it was difficult for us to get the necessary information to arrive. Who wants to have a conversation with a stranger. I pay money, you rent house. We are not BFFs. The worst part is that I have been constantly harassed for a review. The owner sent me 8 emails today alone. 8 emails, that’s just creepy and boarders on intrusive. Skip this place, there are so many great places in St Pete, this is not one of them.

I want to make note that this is not a valid review. I never was able to reach Bill that rented the home. In fact he never showed up to the home , it was occupied by someone I did not know who acknowledged Bill could not be there and was not the person that rented the home. I also tried many times to confirm who rented my home. As for harassing that also is not factual . I always request a review from all travelers, and in return I also review the. This review is very questionable,. I will be contacting VRBO on this review. Especially when the traveler that rented my home never arrived at the home, never answered any of my questions on check in , who was at the home and more. Why would you not want to talk to the owner of a home you are renting ? Is it because you had no intentions to be there? I have been in the business for 17 years and this is a first , I am also a super host on 8 sites . This is very hard to maintain. I have never had any traveler not want to talk to the owner, let alone leave a review when he was not there. I will be contacting VRBO on this review. I feel . Also I was there when the last person checked out he seemed very nervous, said he did not rent the home. Also said he enjoyed the home and was happy with it. So how can someone who never stayed at the home review????? My check in process is the same I send an email thru the site , I text and call the travelre immediately when they book to give them check in information . To my surprise I received a text that was very concerning that his friends were going to be there before he arrived. I never rent to someone who is not staying in the home. Looking back I should of canceled the reservation as a violation to VRBO policy.

Awesome experience
To start off I have to say that Elaine is amazing! From the time I booked til checking out, communication was an A+. Directions to the home and checking in was easy. House was just as described. Yes, one of the bedrooms is off of the master bedroom which is great for anyone traveling with small children or an elderly parent When we took my father-in-law on his last fishing trip last year, I wish we had known of Elaine’s place to keep him close by. This home was clean, she cleans herself instead of trusting someone else to get the job done right. I know this because on last day, our fishing trip was canceled. Elaine invited us over to another property she has in Indian Rocks so the kids could fish off of her dock. She and James were there all day cleaning and I mean taking everything out of the cabinets and drawers cleaning, steam cleaning and disinfecting everything. There were plenty of towels, dishes, pots and pans, etc… everything you need Just like home away from home. There’s even an espresso machine. Coffee for a couple of days. This is a great home away from home for a large family. We had our 5 children and everyone was comfortable. If you have a large family and want more privacy ask if the guest house on premises is available also and rent both or check the Indian Rocks location, which has a dock and pool! It’s probably 2 blocks from the gulf so take your boat! You. won’t find a nicer host then Elaine. We will be renting from her again for sure. I have her vrbo information saved!!

I met Michelle family I have to say I knew I really liked them . She is a nurse her husband a first responder. I wanted their stay to be very special. I feel like I have a new friend and she left my home very clean. I highly recommend her family to all hosts! Elaine

Cozy and convenient
The property is in a great location convenient to downtown St Pete. It was clean and well appointed and the owner is very helpful and easy to work with. It is advertised as 3 BR but one room is the dining room with a screen divider and another is only accessible through a bedroom. No problem for a family or close nit group. Overall great property and rental experience!

Laura was very nice . My home is a great family home and Also many groups rent the home . It says semi private however the rate is very good for the area . I have been renting for 16 plus years . Laura was very clean left my home perfect . There also is a guest home on the property so many travelers take both homes .

Comfortable stay in St. Pete
Elaine’s house is a comfortable, albeit quirky, stay in a pleasant neighborhood about 3 miles from downtown St. Petersburg. It is advertised as 3 bedrooms, but 1 bedroom has no doors and bathroom access from a second bedroom is through the master. The layout would be fine for a family, but might be less attractive for some unrelated adults. The 3-bed house shares lovely courtyard with a small carriage house, which is also rented, so prepare to meet some other travelers. There’s a supermarket and pharmacy within a mile.

Saul was great! Yes my home is very nice , some of the rooms semi private does say this in the listing . Great neighborhood . I have been renting for 16 plus years so sells out quick . Priced right . Saul left my home in nice condition.

Clean , comfortable home
Great location, well taken care of property. Worked out great for me and my adult children. One had to work remotely all week and was well set up with good internet. Owner was great even offered to pick us up at the airport .

Our stay in st Petersburg
We've rented Elaine's house 3 or 4 times and love it for it's open design and great location near 4th st. The courtyard is like being in another country with privacy and even an orange tree! It's always clean and in great shape. My partners father always says he Would move to Florida only if he could buy this house!

We needed to be in St. Pete for a wedding but we couldn’t stay in an old town hotel because we had a dog. Easy to reserve and find. Check in was simple and everything we needed was at our fingertips. We would reserve this again if we were in the area

Group family trip to St. Pete
I originally booked this listing for the st. Anthony triathlon in April 2020. Our friend group was looking for a place where our families could stay together in proximity to Vinoy Park. This rental was a perfect location and we would definitely re-book should we participate in the race again in the future. The race was delayed several times due to COVID and Elaine was lovely and accomodating, helping us with re-booking multiple times. The bedroom situation was not exactly as expected, with two of the bedrooms having been converted and therefore having a bit less privacy than expected. This didn't end up being a real problem for us though and we would not hesitate to stay here again.
