Just got back after 1 week of relaxing time at the Land's End. Nothing to complain really!! Overall highly recommended. But,few things could have made my stay more enjoyable:1. Key pickup & dropoff could have been done right at the property itself! I don't understand what's the need for making things so complicated 2. Door attendant needs to change his attitude towards food delivery riders & Uber drivers. The old man should stay at home or learn how to greet people. One morning I myself was in the car when my Uber driver was entering the door code & the attitude from man was at the door was super annoying & rude.

Beach view was awesome. Condo was clean. Master bedroom too hot. Not enough pots and pans for cooking. No salt or pepper no spices at all.

Beautiful views, with some short comings...

Location great, views great, but unut has a bug problem, walked into dead bugs surrounding the door, continued to have termites and a large cockroach visit and master bedroom air did not work well at all.

This is a very good property with great views of the Gulf of America.The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked. Maybe the best equipped kitchen of any VRBO property we’ve stayed at. Plenty of cookware/bakeware, dinner ware, glasses, cups and mugs. We appreciated this as we prepared all but 2 of our meals in the unit and the whole kitchen offering was fantastic.The A/C is fantastic and keeps the unit nice and cool. That’s very refreshing after a hot, muggy few hours down at the beach. The only oddity here was that the master bedroom was easily 5, maybe 8 degrees (Fahrenheit) warmer than the other parts of the unit. It’s helpful that there are fans in every room to help circulate air, but the warmth of the master bedroom unit was easily felt. We worked with this by blasting the A/C at night and then setting it higher during the day.There are plenty of towels provided for bathroom use. Nice, fluffy towels, too.Some beach/pool items are provided, but we had brought our own. It’s nice that the host provides these.We didn’t notice any impact to the entirety of the Land’s End property units from the 2024 hurricane. We were told by some locals that there had been impact, but for the condo area and its beach, it looked the same as when we visited in 2023. Overall a great day!

7 Days of Sun and Fun!

We really liked our unit, a little dated, but quite lovely. Awesome view of the Gulf! Pool time & beach time were the best times for this family with 2 boys. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The public Boardwalk is a definite plus. This was our second stay at Land's End, and will not be our last.

Reviewer Comments: this is a beautiful property and a very nice condo with a great view of the gulf. Pool is large and well maintained. Our problem was all the maintenance being done and could get no peace or quiet. Monday at the pool, they decided to jackhammer the hot tub and wasn't available the rest of the week. Every morning between 7:30 and 8:00 AM was awakened by tree trimming, mowing and various other forms of power tool torture. We have high stressed jobs and was really looking for peace and quiet but got none.

Constant wet carpet and added smell due to many days of rain. Maintenance and management were excellent in responding. Fans and lights have never been cleaned / dusted , kitchen & main bath very outdated but no issue to us. Pool clean and overall pleasant stay.

We have never had a problem that wasn't resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. They are strict about the pool/spa rules and don't allow horseplay. That's good and bad, well bad for the kids. This resort has a secluded feel as it is at the end of Sunset Beach. The pool bathrooms were closed at the end of our stay but we heard they are renovating the bathrooms and the pool area so we should see some improvements next year. We stay on the beach side so we never hear any of the reported noise coming from the bars across the water on the weekends.

Lovely vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this property could not have been better! It had the most amazing views that I have ever seen. We often saw dolphins jumping out of the gulf while we were dining on the very large balcony. The condo size, amenities, layout was great. They provided beach chairs and umbrellas that were in good condition. New furniture in the master bedroom and what seemed to be new mattresses was very much appreciated. The kitchen was well-equipped (pots, cutlery etc.). Now for the major issue was with the cleanliness of the condo. The shower in the kids bathroom was not clean. The shower door and shower/tub surround had quite a bit of dark mildew accumulation. It is very unpleasant. My girls took showers with their flip flops on! I tried to scrub it off with the little cleaning products provided, but I still couldn't get it all off. I know that the manager of the condo will say "why did we not complain" but at this price cleanliness should be a given. The master bathroom is very dated and had a lot of dust accumulation around the vanity lights. I think that at $1,400/week the condo should have been spotless.I agree with the comments made by others in that the condo is looking a little tired. Also, on a personal note the beige carpet in the dining room was a killer for me. I was so worried about getting the carpet dirty that we ate on the balcony for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Tile is a cleaner, no fuss alternative that guests would appreciate. Also the carpet in the master bathroom (vanity area) is dirty. It really should be switched out for tile.Next time I would probably rent a smaller (less expensive), but renovated condo. Although, we really enjoyed our stay, I don't think that this condo was worth $1,400/week. I would recommend this condo if the owners made a few updates and ensured the cleanliness of condo.

Love Lands End and loved this unit!

I had a wonderful stay in this unit. Lands End is quickly becoming my favorite place to stay in St Pete when visiting my son at college. The living room furniture was super comfy but my favorite spot was sitting in the various furniture options on the balcony drinking my coffee in the morning and taking in the breathtaking sunsets in the evening. Thank you for having me. Can’t wait to return!

Vacation Review

It was an awesome stay. This was our third stay with Lands End and we loved our condo. Clean, beautiful views, close to beach and pool. The only thing that we did not enjoy was the elevator in our building was down for a few days and they also painted while we were there and we were encouraged to move our car from assigned parking area. Overall it was a great vacation and perfect rental.
