I cant say enough about our recent stay at Chris's unit. The view was spectacular and the deck is quite large. We spent all of our home time out there. The kitchen is well equipped and we prepared breakfast every day..full size fridge. The bedroom is kind of like a loft which ioved because i could see the sunrise from bed if i was too lazy to get up. The bed is new, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The location was ideal. Very close to great beaches and being near Redhook was great. Theres plenty of restaurants there and a great grocery store, Moes. You also catch the ferry to St John there. The restaurant at the resort was fantastic and down on the water..very casual outsoor seating.You will be very happy staying here for your home base!

My family and I had a great experienced. Chris was a great host. Very knowledgeable of the Island and communicative. The space of the condo was extremely clean, the staff was respectful, quiet environment and peaceful space, the view is impeccable and the location was very convenient to multiple beaches and restaurants. A car rental is a must as Chris informed us. We would happily stay again!

What a VIEW!!

My husband & I only stayed one night but, really enjoyed the condo. We were astounded at the view!! The condo is up at the top of the hill, so it's not surprising! The host, Chris, was very responsive and helpful getting us into the property and letting us know what amenities of Point Pleasant had. Very helpful because it is tricky to find the condo without her instructions. I would have given the overall rating of 5 stars, but the A/C did not seem to work, and I couldn't leave the slider doors open because it was storming throughout the night. The ceiling fans were super helpful!!We ate down at Sun & Sea Bar & Grill where we had mahi tacos, ceviche, and a burger. All were very tasty!!It was very covenient to have a restaurant on site.

Already lived in condo

The host is very nice and is very responsive. It's an old fashioned check in process where you need to use keys, and msg host when you arrive. I would describe the unit as an already lived in condo, and not resort standards. Some dishes were put away dirty. Lotion marks from past guest was still on the nightstand. Caked on dust within reachable items. Chairs and couch need to be cleaned. Curtains are stained. Rusty microwave and fridge. Burners on stove are missing pieces. There r no handles on outside glass doors. Beach chairs in condo are not in working conditioning, and snorkeling equipment is not cleaned after each guest use. Received one big, one hand and one wash rag per guest, all from mismatched sets. Stayed for two weeks and received two rolls of toilet paper, one paper towel, two garbage bags, broken shampoo and conditioner bottles and a wet opened box of soap for three guests. The beach pictures are exactly as described. We walked to coki beach almost everyday. Point pleasant resort is beautiful, lots of walking trails. When looking at the map this unit is in building 34. It's not a far distance from the beach but it is a very steep walk. Going down is easy, coming back up is difficult. Resort provides transportation to get around the resort. The price was high for the lack of resort standards and working/clean amenities within the unit. We booked again, but booked through the resort to receive resort standards at a cost savings.

Perfect spot

Chris is a great host. She provides you with all the information you need to enjoy the island to the fullest. The property checks all the boxes (balcony with views, pools, restaurant, coffee maker, etc.). Renting a car was necessary for us but the resort does have a car service you can call to bring you to pools/restaurant at the resort. We did wish that the resort had better signage on where pools were and what direction to go to reach your condo but onviously that's not the end of the world.

Wonderful

Absolutely gorgeous view, beautiful sunrise from the balcony, shower was really nice and overall the condo was very clean! Couple of down sides were the sofa bed was not very clean or comfortable and also I reached out to Chris regarding the A/C as it was set for 78 and could not be adjusted….her response was you do not need it this time of year because of the Christmas winds , I then explained that I had traveled from single digits and low dew points to 70 degrees overnight with dew points also in the 70s she said she understood as she was in a similar climate she then suggested I go take a dip in the pool but the A/C situation was never resolved, overall we had a amazing trip she was very helpful with places to eat and things to do we just could have use it to be a little more comfortable for sleeping.

Ivory tower with Ocean views

Beautiful marble floors with breathtaking waterfront and countryside views. The glass double doors that fully open to the amazing views lets the ocean air washes the worries away. The host was more than accommodating, and the resort had great breakfast. The workers at the resort were fabulous you can walk or take shuttles to the beach. Lastly, the beaches are something out of a movie just heavenly.

Amazing island views

Extremely clean, well appointed, and comfortable in room experience. The views from the deck are fantastic if weather becomes an issue. The gated community makes it one of the safest properties I've ever stayed in throughout the Caribbean. Fine dining that you can walk to as well!

Our stay at point Pleasant resort, in Chris’ condominium Was relaxing and wonderful. The condominium is nicely appointed, We slept wonderfully in the king bed. The views from the large patio are absolutely wonderful, sitting and enjoying a drink or a meal there was a favorite. The ideal villa! Wide balcony sliding doors and fans for that open air island feel, elevated ocean vista offering all shades of turquoise to blue, sunrises and a constant cool breeze. Safe feel, gated w/ security, friendly grounds staff. Walk to the modern well kept pool situated atop the complex for a night swim with colorful lighting and more great views. Options for down-on-the-water food and bar, or an evening cocktail at a nicer mid-elevation restaurant surrounded by a palm nature area. Our great stay was guided with helpful hints by the very accommodating and communicative owner/host. Easy island drive to our two favorite Coki and Magens beaches. Would 10/10 return and / or recommend to family and friends for the essential Saint Thomas experience!

Loved our stay

Check in was very easy as everything was done thru the owner. She gave us great directions and called to make sure we found our way and helped with our arrival. We had a beautiful view and the place was very spacious. Bed was comfortable with soft sheets and lots of pillows. Be sure to ask for her dining recommendations because they were on point! We had Beach Buzz for breakfast 2 days, a nice dinner at Pangea, lunch at Duffys Love Shack, and pizza from Senor Pizza. We had dinner at Sun and Sea at the resort when we got there and it was great too. She also gave us beach and other recommendations. Lindquist beach was great and it was very close. You can see it from the balcony. And we went to Hawksnest beach on St John. Both were recommended by her. She was a great host and helped with our stay a lot. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

When we arrived at the property, it was really difficult to figure out where the unit was located. We contacted Chris, as she was trying to explain on the phone how to get to her property. Nothing is really clear. Although she is super nice on the phone and had many nice suggestions to do on the island. I would suggest that the couch be cleaned or replaced. Had trouble with the television right from the start, the fans that were left on the table and on the floor are full of dust and need to cleaned. Vent fan in the bathroom didn't work at all. The comforter had stains on it and should be cleaned. Other than that, the unit was very functional and had everything that you would need for your stay. It is very close to Red Hook and other conveniences. We had a great time and we look forward to coming back someday.

Wonderful Stay!

My wife and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary in this beautiful villa. The owner Chris is beyond helpful and so easy to work with! Everything listed is accurate and we used this location, along with a rental car, to explore St. Thomas and St. John (used the car barge). The villa was exceptionally clean and the view is breathtaking. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Clean with great views

The property was clean which was much appreciated, however there are some much needed maintenance updates needed. The furniture is comfortable, but at the end of its life. Overall, we had a good stay. The views from this unit are incredible. The resort is close to Red Hook ferry which is convenient for visiting St. John. Close to a market for all of your grocery needs. Chris, the host, was responsive with questions and provided plenty of suggestions and resources for you to have a nice, well prepared stay.

Loved the place and host!

We loved the condo! Everything we needed was included. The place is wonderful with plenty of space for four adults for a week. The bed was super comfy and the decor beautiful. Enjoyed the large tv that extends and swivels. We used the beach chairs and cooler and it was so nice that we could put in the jeep and take to the beaches every day! Can’t express how much we absolutely loved that all four adults were able to take hot showers without rush thanks to the tank less hot water heater!! Chris is so great and accommodating with anything we needed and had great recommendations since we’ve been to STT and point pleasant many times. The view from the condo is great and peaceful to start and end our days. We love the safety and seclusion of point pleasant and options available for pools, food and drinks and this condo is perfect. We had the best time with my brother and sister in law and this condo made it perfect for their first visit to the island. We highly recommend Chris and her property and can’t wait to return back to this unit. Thank you so much!

We had a great time! The grounds were clean, the stay was great. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful! She had 2 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, snorkeling gear and a yoga mat making our experience the best! Everyone was friendly! We had a wonderful time!
