Location was great-short walk to beach. In walking distance to excellent restaurant. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Could use some maintenance updates. Overall it was a great place to stay. We communicated directly with Chris! She was very helpful it getting us settled and giving info on beaches, eateries and sites to see. Would recommend to others.

The villa was decent for the price, but I honestly wish we had paid a little more for a different experience. The outdoor space was nice, private, and generally quiet (aside from roosters crowing, which didn't bother us much, but might bother some!) which was a big perk. The pool was nice, but the water was sadly a bit too cold to fully enjoy it (mid-January). It is an easy walk to Sapphire Beach, which is busy but has the convenience of restaurants. You may walk 10 minutes on shoulder of road to pay to get into Lindquist Beach, which is very peaceful. The listing says Cabes Point is a 1 minute walk, but you can actually not access it at all from the villa. It is very easy to get a cab anywhere you want to go, either by standing at the road and flagging one down, or from Sapphire Beach (they are always waiting around there). Host was very communicative, actually overly so, and I eventually muted her messages because she texted so frequently. We could tell she wanted us to enjoy our trip, but it felt overwhelming at times. At one point, we adjusted the angle of the shower head (as it was on a ball joint), it cracked and began spraying water around the bathroom. For the sake of transparency, we communicated this incident to the host, and... she kind of blew up at us and told us "you were never meant to touch it" as it is "permanent"? This became a very stressful point of the trip, which left an unfortunate and bitter taste in our mouths.

Super cool location, walk to sapphire beach, yet offered privacy and a private pool. Very convenient to the ferries to St. John, and red hook for dining etc. really look forward to visiting again!

Perfect Getaway

We had such an amazing time! This cozy little condo was perfect for our needs. Great location, nice property. Our host, Chris was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. Giving suggestions and recommendations. We had a couple of hiccups that were attended to very quickly. I hate that we didn’t get to use the pool when that was the reason I wanted this home. Nature (leaves and bugs) just wanted the pool also lol. There was a net to clean it but with the wind, it kept being too much. But, such a great host! We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful stay at pools and pavilions

The property was stunningly, beautiful and relaxing. The location was amazing next to Sapphire Bay then coming home and relaxing in your own private pool. It was just heaven..

Perfect space and location

Great place to stay, great host, but AC could be better.

The property is nice and private and beach access is a short walk. The private pool makes for an excellent place to relax if you don't want to go to the beach. Chris is a responsive host and very easy to work with. Only negative is that the AC does not sufficiently cool the condo, it was a little uncomfortable during the day. It eventually cools down late a night but AC was below expectations. The only unit is a small ductless unit in the living room and the bedroom does not have a dedicated unit so it gets particularly warm. If AC is not crucial to your stay, then definitely stay here as it's a great experience otherwise for the price.

If you are an early morning riser, this is the place for you. Bedroom gets full morning sun.

Emerald beach is close to the facility and there are many restaurant's to choose from close by including one on the property. It’s a nice older property that offers convenience and pool privacy. If you want to explore it’s advisable to rent a vehicle.

We (2 adults and our 12 yr old) stayed here just recently from Sunday to Thursday, and I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here!! U have your own private pool, and it's a short walking distance to sapphire beach!! We WILL BE BACK FOR SURE!!

Perfect vacation spot to disconnect

The host was communicative and responsive to any questions we had and they even shared tips and their recommendations with us, which was very helpful. My husband and I loved our stay, it was an easy check-in / check out process. We had a rental car and it was easy to park when we needed to use the car. Otherwise, you’re about a 5-8 min walk away from Sapphire beach, which has a coffee bar and restaurants. This would also be where we would grab a taxi from if we didn’t need/want to use our rental car. Lindquist is also a 5-8 min walk and absolutely tranquil. No restaurants there but we loved bringing our own and enjoying a sunset on the beach. The unit we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and having a private pool to soak in while reading a book was wonderful. Internet access is good and we were able to stream a movie on one of the nights it rained during our stay after we ate a delicious meal at Pangea, the onsite restaurant. We’ll definitely be staying here again next time we visit St Thomas!

Chris is highly responsive and cares about her place and your stay. Clear instructions and she and the place make you care about it too. Clean, lovely, functional house...exactly the right size and layout for a couple, but could add another adult or 2 kids on the pullout. Great bedroom and excellent big firm comfortable bed and pillows. Remodeled large shower and separate sink area is very impressive. Kitchen and Bathroom are well stocked. Open floor plan: LR/Kitchen/DR and great floor to ceiling windows on two sides of the house with pull down shades. Pool and patio were much appreciated ...small but you can do a few strokes across or just enjoy the perfect water temperature and the big floatie. Very private, quiet, and short walk to trash and laundry facility. Walking distance to the very pretty Saphire beach and amenities, and Chris supplies beach chairs and snorkeling equipment. Very short walk to road to flag a safari to Red Hook for shopping and dining, or to wherever you want to go...Charlotte Amalie, the ferry to beautiful St. John, any of the other beaches, etc. Chris recommended Lobster night at the Love Shack (Duffy's in Red Hook...be there on a Wed. night) and the restaurant at the end of the property path: Pangea, was amazing in atmosphere, beauty, friendliness, and food. I just want to go back right now!

Perfect for privacy

My boyfriend and I spent the second half of our week in St. John/St. Thomas vacation at this villa. Chris was extremely helpful and will give you tips for everything you need to know about your stay. She’s awesome! The property provides a very private experience for a very affordable rate. Having your own private pool is AMAZING! Plus you’re so close to everything that a quick trip to the market for supplies will not take much effort. It’s literally a 3 min drive. Snorkel gear along with other island essentials such as sunscreen and bug spray were provided. Bc of all the vegetation and water the mosquitoes are no joke. If you plan to do night swimming make sure you spray yourself down with OFF. If you’re going with your spouse or significant others this place is perfect for a secluded getaway. We also went during the Virgin Island’s off season so I’m sure that plays into the seclusion. We were able to walk to Safire and Lindquist Beach from this property. The little cafe, bar, and food spots right off of Safire beach were great too!

Amazing Experience!!!!

Chris was so amazing to communicate with, and she bent over backwards to give us everything we wanted. This was my first Vrbo, but second time visiting the island. I had such an easier experience traveling this time around!!! Own personal pool, full kitchen, beautiful shower, pool/beach items including coolers. What else could you ask for?! Definitely stay here!!!
