« The bathroom was very dated. It looked like a nursing home. The flooring was extremely old. The bed was too low. Only one bath towel for 2 people. It was definitely not up to standard for a Hub. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. But this hotel needs serious renovations. »

« Lovely large room with views of the canal. Plenty of car parking and excellent dining facilities. »

« I liked the great taste of the place, the wonderful garden and the exceptional kindness of the staff, looking after you with the nicest manners. The breakfast was also exceptional. »

« Mattress on Bed not the most comfortable . Couldn’t understand how the tv worked to get normal channels . so instructions would’ve helpful . ( subtitles didn’t seem available on bbc player which we needed as we are both hearing impaired ) But everything else was ok as we were only staying for one night and the staff are helpful on check in and our room was ready early »

« L'hôtel est une belle et grande maison au milieu de la campagne, tres accessibke en voiture et bien desservie par Uber. La gare est a 20 mn de voiture avec des liaisons regulieres pour Londres, en 90 mn. Tres bon emplacement pour des vacances au calme. Le petit dejeuner est délicieux. »

« Hôtel correct, malgré qq petites imperfections ( pomme de douche qui fuyait, siège de WC qui avait la bougeotte ! mitigeur douche entartré ) literie propre mais changée au 4ème jour ! Chambre bien meublée. Petit déjeuner très complet. »

« I recently stayed here for a training event. The facilities were generally ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. Some parts of the property do feel a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The main issue I had was with the shower in my room, which had no cold water at all and was boiling hot. Unfortunately, I only discovered this in the morning, so there wasn’t really time for it to be fixed before I had to leave. »
