Excellent location and wonderful staff
My experience with this rental was excellent. The condo was very well maintained a staff was very quick to respond to any issues or questions. The location was a very short walk to gondola and the views from the room were great. The pool and hot tubs were very clean and had amazing views.i would certainly stay here again.

The West - Steamboat
The location of this property was amazing. A short walk to the base area and you can be in the mountain in minutes it’s a short drive to downtown for dinner and evening activities. House was spacious and cozy. The hooks were amazing for hanging all of our snowboarding gear as we came in. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location, could use some TLC
This is a great little spot just a 5 minute walk from Steamboat Square. We loved the amenities that were offered guests (hot tub, pool, communal washer and dryer). The bed and couches were all comfy and the fire place got the living room quite toasty for post-ski rests. Being able to be so close to the ski resort we were able to save a ton of time and money by coming back to our room for lunch. The room was clean and had plenty of extra blankets and pillows to keep us warm. TV was acceptable, although in 2022 a HD TV would be nice with how cheap they are.
The cons were the outdated kitchen, the lack of clear directions for some things (for example it was an adventure trying to find the laundry room as the Vacasa help line posted was a dead end). The kitchen could use a LOT of updating. The cutlery was all dull and very cheap, the pots and pans were all oddly sized (for a rental for 2 people didn't see the point of having 20 qt pots and giant pans that took up limited space), the dishwasher is finicky and sometimes just stops mid wash. When washing clothes make sure to bring your own coins as there is no coin machine in the laundry room. Also, the heat in the bathroom does not work, this wasn't a huge issue as we usually just left those doors open and let the living area and bed room heat the bathroom.
Not to sound too critical as it was a lovely little spot and would consider renting again, but with a few updates this place would be a hidden gem without a doubt.

Vacasa was the problem
I really wish I could contact the owner directly because the problem isn't with the unit - it is with how it is managed. We had problems beginning right when we arrived when the key didn't work for ski locker door. We then realized the wifi password didn't work and it took 1 hour of texting with support line (and finally calling them) before WE discovered they were directing us to the wrong wifi network (very frustrating way to begin a holiday weekend). Then in the morning, 3 of the 4 burners on the stove didn't work and the faucet in the kitchen was super lose and when they 'fixed it', they tightened it so much you couldn't even move the nozzle from side to side. After skiing, we walked to the hot tub only to learn that the code to the hot tub was wrong (apparently out dated code) and we only go the new code because someone from one of the other units saw us stuck outside the gate. The '24/7' support from Vacasa is either via text or through their international support staff who can't do anything except send messages to the local team. Very frustrating. Owners - I hope you will consider using a different company because your unit would have been lovely if it weren't for the 'pile on' effect of so many smaller issues. I will do my best to avoid Vacasa at all costs in the future (we met someone in the hot tub who rented via Vacasa in California and had a very similar experience). There also wasn't much information about the unit or the area in the unit or in the Vacasa app.

The good: Perfect for a couple. Nice little patio to enjoy your coffee watching the sun rise, or happy hour at the end of the day. Nice fireplace for the cool mountain nights. Everything we needed, and nothing we didn’t.
Area for improvement: Unsecured WiFi at the West. No hot tub or pool access due to Covid restrictions (wasn’t mentioned in the listing). No instructions in the unit to get the TV, cable access to work. Unless you’ve brought DVDs with you, you’re out of luck. Lastly, but most important, strong mold odor in the entrance, bedroom and at the kitchen sink. Had to leave the windows open when in the unit to air it out.

Great place and perfect location!
Condo was very comfortable and in a great location. It's sits on a little knoll almost by itself so you're not crowded on all sides other condos. Short walk to bottom of lifts area and short drive to downtown Steamboat. Safe area to take walks after dinner and a nice view of the slopes from the patio door and patio!!! A short walk up the sidewalk out back of the condo complex gives you the perfect place to watch the sunset! The condo does not have air conditioning but you really don't need it. We opened the patio door and windows in the evening, put the box fans in them and it cools down nicely! We enjoyed the Saturday farmers market in downtown Steamboat and lots of good hikes in the area. Would definitely recommend this condo!
